151e regiment dartillerie-drapeau (France) Shot Glass 1.5oz

A flat vector tricolour of France, blue, white and red, carries six battle honours of the 151st Artillery Regiment in clean capitals.

Visual Elements & Composition

The composition is built from vertical bands of the French national colours, with a small touch of gold for the lettering. Nothing else sits on the surface, so the stripes and names dominate. Six honours are legible: ANCÔNE 1799, BADAJOZ 1811, HUNINGUE 1815, BOMARSUND 1854, VERDUN 1916 and L'AILETTE 1918. Set one below another, they form a tidy column that runs across the field and reads from the earliest date to the latest.

Meaning & Symbolism

The 151e Régiment d'Artillerie was formed on 5 May 1929 and dissolved in 1940. It inherited the traditions of the 1er régiment d'artillerie à pied, and the honours on its flag reach back to the wars of the Revolution and Empire through to the First World War. The regimental motto, "Fais ce que dois", is the phrase the unit lived by. The garrison at Thionville and the Maginot Line are tied to the regiment's story, and the flag stands for the solemn record of that service.

Carried Close, Read Slowly

A shot glass is small enough to read at a glance, with the honours in a single column. The names are long enough to take a moment, so the drink is raised and the list is taken in one line at a time. On a shelf, the piece works as a reminder of a gunner regiment whose honours began more than two centuries ago.

Compact, heavy-based shot glasses made from clear, restaurant-grade glass. One standard size (1.5 oz / ≈44.3 ml) — sturdy, stack-friendly, and built to handle frequent service without fuss.

These shot glasses feel solid in the hand thanks to a thick, weighty base that keeps them steady on busy bar tops. The walls are even and clear, giving a nice, unobstructed view of the pour; the rim is smoothed for comfortable sipping.

They’re engineered for regular use: consistent dimensions, dependable weight, and a simple silhouette that suits both casual venues and more formal tasting counters. Designed to perform rather than show off.

  • Material: 100% clear glass for pure clarity and clean presentation.
  • Capacity: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml) — standard shot measure.
  • Base: heavy solid glass base that reduces tipping and improves balance.
  • Construction: restaurant-grade durability for frequent handling and washing.
  • Print-ready: suitable for single-sided print applications that withstand typical use.

Perfect for quick pours, samplers, and neat shots. Their compact footprint makes them easy to place on trays and tasting lines, while the heavier base keeps things steady during service.

  1. Bar service: quick, consistent pours — less wobble when carrying a tray of shots.
  2. Tastings: uniform size is handy for sampling flights or spirit tastings.
  3. Events: robust enough for pop-ups, festivals, and busy bartending shifts.

Storage tip: store upright and avoid tight stacking to protect rims and preserve clarity.

Dishwasher-safe for everyday cleaning — place on the top rack and use a normal household cycle. Repeated exposure to very high commercial temperatures can shorten glass life, so choose gentler programs where practical.

When you want to extend clarity and finish: hand-wash with warm water, a mild detergent, and a soft cloth; dry right away to avoid water spots. Handle by the body (not the rim) to reduce accidental chipping.

One size only: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml). Use the dimensions below for shelving, packaging, or tray planning.
