151e regiment dinfanterie de ligne-drapeau (France) Shot Glass 1.5oz

A striped tricolour of blue, white and red carries ten battle honours of the 151st Line Infantry, spanning from 1813 to the Algerian War.

Visual Elements & Composition

Vertical bands of the French national colours make up the field, and they are the dominant element of the design. The honours are set across the stripes as short inscriptions, one to a line. Ten are legible: WEISSIG 1813, WURSCHEN 1813, L'YSER 1914, VERDUN 1916, LA SOMME 1916, L'AISNE 1917, SOISSONNAIS 1918, GERMERSHEIM 1945, INDOCHINE 1947-1950 and AFN 1952-1962. The list is long and orderly, so the eye follows it down the flag as a single record.

Meaning & Symbolism

The regiment was created in 1813, and its colours have changed with the military eras it served through. Standardised regulation flags were adopted in 1842, and new official flags were distributed by the Third Republic on 14 July 1880. An earlier version from 1793 bore the motto "Discipline et obéissance aux lois", which speaks to the discipline the unit was built on. The honours run from the Napoleonic campaigns through the First World War and into the decades of France's postwar service overseas.

A Long List in a Small Glass

A glass of this size keeps the whole list in view at once, with the honours stacked in the order they were won. Ten names take a little time to read, so the shot is raised, the first lines taken in, and the rest read as the glass is turned. The piece suits a shelf where the record can be looked over in company.

Compact, heavy-based shot glasses made from clear, restaurant-grade glass. One standard size (1.5 oz / ≈44.3 ml) — sturdy, stack-friendly, and built to handle frequent service without fuss.

These shot glasses feel solid in the hand thanks to a thick, weighty base that keeps them steady on busy bar tops. The walls are even and clear, giving a nice, unobstructed view of the pour; the rim is smoothed for comfortable sipping.

They’re engineered for regular use: consistent dimensions, dependable weight, and a simple silhouette that suits both casual venues and more formal tasting counters. Designed to perform rather than show off.

  • Material: 100% clear glass for pure clarity and clean presentation.
  • Capacity: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml) — standard shot measure.
  • Base: heavy solid glass base that reduces tipping and improves balance.
  • Construction: restaurant-grade durability for frequent handling and washing.
  • Print-ready: suitable for single-sided print applications that withstand typical use.

Perfect for quick pours, samplers, and neat shots. Their compact footprint makes them easy to place on trays and tasting lines, while the heavier base keeps things steady during service.

  1. Bar service: quick, consistent pours — less wobble when carrying a tray of shots.
  2. Tastings: uniform size is handy for sampling flights or spirit tastings.
  3. Events: robust enough for pop-ups, festivals, and busy bartending shifts.

Storage tip: store upright and avoid tight stacking to protect rims and preserve clarity.

Dishwasher-safe for everyday cleaning — place on the top rack and use a normal household cycle. Repeated exposure to very high commercial temperatures can shorten glass life, so choose gentler programs where practical.

When you want to extend clarity and finish: hand-wash with warm water, a mild detergent, and a soft cloth; dry right away to avoid water spots. Handle by the body (not the rim) to reduce accidental chipping.

One size only: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml). Use the dimensions below for shelving, packaging, or tray planning.
