154e regiment dinfanterie de ligne-drapeau (France) Shot Glass 1.5oz

This design shows the flag of the 154th Line Infantry Regiment of France, a tricolour standard hung with the names of the battles the unit fought in.

Visual Elements & Composition

Blue, white and red fill the field in vertical stripes, the classic French tricolour, with a narrow gold accent at the edges. The layout is simple and upright, so the inscriptions carry the design. The names run in capitals down the cloth: WEISSIG 1813, GOLDBERG 1813, ARGONNE 1915, CHAMPAGNE 1915, VERDUN 1916, L'AISNE 1917 and LE MATZ 1918. The stripes and lettering give the piece a clean, graphic look.

Meaning & Symbolism

The regiment was formed in 1794, and its honours follow it from the Napoleonic campaigns of 1813 through the First World War. The Weissig and Goldberg names record the earliest actions, while the 1915 to 1918 names mark the battles of the trenches and the final advance. The unit's service earned it the Croix de Guerre 1914-1918, and the honours in this design are the record of that service.

Held in the Hand

A shot glass is small and held close, so the names on the standard are read up near the eye, the way a regimental colour was read by the men beneath it. The stripes wrap the curve of the glass, and the lettering comes round as the glass is turned. It is a good match for anyone who keeps a record of French military history and likes the detail of a battle roll.

Compact, heavy-based shot glasses made from clear, restaurant-grade glass. One standard size (1.5 oz / ≈44.3 ml) — sturdy, stack-friendly, and built to handle frequent service without fuss.

These shot glasses feel solid in the hand thanks to a thick, weighty base that keeps them steady on busy bar tops. The walls are even and clear, giving a nice, unobstructed view of the pour; the rim is smoothed for comfortable sipping.

They’re engineered for regular use: consistent dimensions, dependable weight, and a simple silhouette that suits both casual venues and more formal tasting counters. Designed to perform rather than show off.

  • Material: 100% clear glass for pure clarity and clean presentation.
  • Capacity: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml) — standard shot measure.
  • Base: heavy solid glass base that reduces tipping and improves balance.
  • Construction: restaurant-grade durability for frequent handling and washing.
  • Print-ready: suitable for single-sided print applications that withstand typical use.

Perfect for quick pours, samplers, and neat shots. Their compact footprint makes them easy to place on trays and tasting lines, while the heavier base keeps things steady during service.

  1. Bar service: quick, consistent pours — less wobble when carrying a tray of shots.
  2. Tastings: uniform size is handy for sampling flights or spirit tastings.
  3. Events: robust enough for pop-ups, festivals, and busy bartending shifts.

Storage tip: store upright and avoid tight stacking to protect rims and preserve clarity.

Dishwasher-safe for everyday cleaning — place on the top rack and use a normal household cycle. Repeated exposure to very high commercial temperatures can shorten glass life, so choose gentler programs where practical.

When you want to extend clarity and finish: hand-wash with warm water, a mild detergent, and a soft cloth; dry right away to avoid water spots. Handle by the body (not the rim) to reduce accidental chipping.

One size only: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml). Use the dimensions below for shelving, packaging, or tray planning.
