160e regiment dinfanterie-drapeau (France) Shot Glass 1.5oz

This design depicts the historic tricolour flag of the 160th Infantry Regiment of France, with three First World War battle honours worked in gold.

Visual Elements & Composition

The French tricolour forms the ground of the design, its blue, white and red bands running upright across the cloth. Gold lettering carries the battle honours in a clear, centred arrangement: PICARDIE 1914, CHAMPAGNE 1915 and VERDUN 1916. The gold is the only warm note against the three national colours, so it draws the eye straight to the inscriptions. The overall layout is flat and orderly, with nothing beyond the stripes and the text.

Meaning & Symbolism

Picardie in 1914, Champagne in 1915 and Verdun in 1916 are three of the battles that defined the regiment's part in the First World War. Verdun in particular was one of the longest and costliest engagements of the war. The regiment was created on 25 July 1887, and its honours were added during the war years, when it was also awarded the Croix de Guerre 1914-1918 with two palms. The honours and decoration on the flag are the unit's own record of that service.

Held in the Hand

A shot glass is small and held close, so the gold names are read at the level of the eye, the way a colour party's honours were read by those who stood near the standard. The tricolour bands run round the curve of the glass, and the lettering moves as the glass is turned. It suits anyone who keeps a close record of the First World War and the regiments that fought in it.

Compact, heavy-based shot glasses made from clear, restaurant-grade glass. One standard size (1.5 oz / ≈44.3 ml) — sturdy, stack-friendly, and built to handle frequent service without fuss.

These shot glasses feel solid in the hand thanks to a thick, weighty base that keeps them steady on busy bar tops. The walls are even and clear, giving a nice, unobstructed view of the pour; the rim is smoothed for comfortable sipping.

They’re engineered for regular use: consistent dimensions, dependable weight, and a simple silhouette that suits both casual venues and more formal tasting counters. Designed to perform rather than show off.

  • Material: 100% clear glass for pure clarity and clean presentation.
  • Capacity: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml) — standard shot measure.
  • Base: heavy solid glass base that reduces tipping and improves balance.
  • Construction: restaurant-grade durability for frequent handling and washing.
  • Print-ready: suitable for single-sided print applications that withstand typical use.

Perfect for quick pours, samplers, and neat shots. Their compact footprint makes them easy to place on trays and tasting lines, while the heavier base keeps things steady during service.

  1. Bar service: quick, consistent pours — less wobble when carrying a tray of shots.
  2. Tastings: uniform size is handy for sampling flights or spirit tastings.
  3. Events: robust enough for pop-ups, festivals, and busy bartending shifts.

Storage tip: store upright and avoid tight stacking to protect rims and preserve clarity.

Dishwasher-safe for everyday cleaning — place on the top rack and use a normal household cycle. Repeated exposure to very high commercial temperatures can shorten glass life, so choose gentler programs where practical.

When you want to extend clarity and finish: hand-wash with warm water, a mild detergent, and a soft cloth; dry right away to avoid water spots. Handle by the body (not the rim) to reduce accidental chipping.

One size only: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml). Use the dimensions below for shelving, packaging, or tray planning.
