169e regiment dinfanterie-drapeau (France) Shot Glass 1.5oz

This design reproduces the flag of the 169th Infantry Regiment of the French Army, a tricolour of vertical stripes carrying seven gold battle honours.

Visual Elements & Composition

Vertical stripes of blue, white and red fill the field in near-equal shares, so the flag reads as a clean, graphic block. The stripes run the full height of the image without any frame. Against them, the gold inscriptions form the only detail, and they read "TRIPPSTADT 1794", "LUXEMBOURG 1795", "VERDUN 1917", "L'AISNE 1918", "L'AILETTE 1918", "VAUXAILLON 1918" and "LA LYS 1918". The lettering is spread across the flag rather than gathered in one place.

Meaning & Symbolism

The honours cover two wars and more than a century of service. Trippstadt and Luxembourg are from the 1790s, when the regiment was first formed in 1794. Verdun in 1917 and the 1918 engagements at the Aisne, the Ailette, Vauxaillon and La Lys belong to the First World War. The regiment was re-formed in 1913 and again in 1939. Its flag follows the model of the Third Republic, and the tricolour places the unit within the French nation it served.

A flag to hold up

A 1.5oz shot glass is small and held close, so the stripes register at once as the glass is lifted. The vertical bands line up with the straight sides of the glass, and the gold lettering stays legible as the glass turns in the hand. It is a short, direct way to carry a regiment's battle record on a bar cart or a display shelf.

Compact, heavy-based shot glasses made from clear, restaurant-grade glass. One standard size (1.5 oz / ≈44.3 ml) — sturdy, stack-friendly, and built to handle frequent service without fuss.

These shot glasses feel solid in the hand thanks to a thick, weighty base that keeps them steady on busy bar tops. The walls are even and clear, giving a nice, unobstructed view of the pour; the rim is smoothed for comfortable sipping.

They’re engineered for regular use: consistent dimensions, dependable weight, and a simple silhouette that suits both casual venues and more formal tasting counters. Designed to perform rather than show off.

  • Material: 100% clear glass for pure clarity and clean presentation.
  • Capacity: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml) — standard shot measure.
  • Base: heavy solid glass base that reduces tipping and improves balance.
  • Construction: restaurant-grade durability for frequent handling and washing.
  • Print-ready: suitable for single-sided print applications that withstand typical use.

Perfect for quick pours, samplers, and neat shots. Their compact footprint makes them easy to place on trays and tasting lines, while the heavier base keeps things steady during service.

  1. Bar service: quick, consistent pours — less wobble when carrying a tray of shots.
  2. Tastings: uniform size is handy for sampling flights or spirit tastings.
  3. Events: robust enough for pop-ups, festivals, and busy bartending shifts.

Storage tip: store upright and avoid tight stacking to protect rims and preserve clarity.

Dishwasher-safe for everyday cleaning — place on the top rack and use a normal household cycle. Repeated exposure to very high commercial temperatures can shorten glass life, so choose gentler programs where practical.

When you want to extend clarity and finish: hand-wash with warm water, a mild detergent, and a soft cloth; dry right away to avoid water spots. Handle by the body (not the rim) to reduce accidental chipping.

One size only: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml). Use the dimensions below for shelving, packaging, or tray planning.
