176e regiment dinfanterie-drapeau (France) Shot Glass 1.5oz

A flat vector tricolour standard in blue, white and red, marked with the numeral 176 and two gold-embroidered battle honors.

Visual Elements & Composition

Three vertical bands, blue at the hoist, white at the centre and red at the fly, make up the field and dominate the design. The regimental number 176 is set large in the middle, where it draws the eye first. Gold lettering records DARDANELLES 1915 and FLORINA 1916, and a single palm of the Croix de Guerre 1914-1918 is attached to the standard, a small touch of gold against the strong primary colours.

Meaning & Symbolism

The tricolour is the emblem of the French nation, and the numeral identifies the 176th Régiment d'Infanterie within the French Army. The two honors mark the unit's campaigns in the Dardanelles and at Florina during the First World War. The regiment was created on 21 March 1915, and this standard served it until the unit was dissolved on 9 June 1919. The design treats the flag as a formal record of that service and of the honors won in it.

Raised Close to the Lip

A shot glass is small and held close, so the numeral and the gold battle names are read at a glance as the glass is raised. The narrow form of the vessel suits a tall vertical standard, and the blue, white and red bands run straight up the side in a clean, unbroken line.

Compact, heavy-based shot glasses made from clear, restaurant-grade glass. One standard size (1.5 oz / ≈44.3 ml) — sturdy, stack-friendly, and built to handle frequent service without fuss.

These shot glasses feel solid in the hand thanks to a thick, weighty base that keeps them steady on busy bar tops. The walls are even and clear, giving a nice, unobstructed view of the pour; the rim is smoothed for comfortable sipping.

They’re engineered for regular use: consistent dimensions, dependable weight, and a simple silhouette that suits both casual venues and more formal tasting counters. Designed to perform rather than show off.

  • Material: 100% clear glass for pure clarity and clean presentation.
  • Capacity: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml) — standard shot measure.
  • Base: heavy solid glass base that reduces tipping and improves balance.
  • Construction: restaurant-grade durability for frequent handling and washing.
  • Print-ready: suitable for single-sided print applications that withstand typical use.

Perfect for quick pours, samplers, and neat shots. Their compact footprint makes them easy to place on trays and tasting lines, while the heavier base keeps things steady during service.

  1. Bar service: quick, consistent pours — less wobble when carrying a tray of shots.
  2. Tastings: uniform size is handy for sampling flights or spirit tastings.
  3. Events: robust enough for pop-ups, festivals, and busy bartending shifts.

Storage tip: store upright and avoid tight stacking to protect rims and preserve clarity.

Dishwasher-safe for everyday cleaning — place on the top rack and use a normal household cycle. Repeated exposure to very high commercial temperatures can shorten glass life, so choose gentler programs where practical.

When you want to extend clarity and finish: hand-wash with warm water, a mild detergent, and a soft cloth; dry right away to avoid water spots. Handle by the body (not the rim) to reduce accidental chipping.

One size only: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml). Use the dimensions below for shelving, packaging, or tray planning.
