1903-1909 Utah Governors Flag (United States) Shot Glass 1.5oz

This design reproduces the 1903 Utah Governor's flag, a blue banner centred on the Great Seal of the State of Utah and a reminder of the state's early twentieth-century identity.

Visual Elements & Composition

Deep blue fills most of the field, with a white shield at the centre bearing the state seal. A bald eagle spreads above the shield, a beehive sits within it, and sego lilies frame the lower edge in gold and white. Crossed American flags appear among the emblems, and the lettering INDUSTRY and the dates 1847 and 1896 are set into the design. The layout is formal and symmetrical, built from flat vector shapes that stay sharp at any size.

Meaning & Symbolism

Each motif in the seal carries a message. The beehive stands for hard work and industry, the date 1847 marks the arrival of the Latter-day Saints in the territory, and the eagle signifies protective strength in both peace and war. The sego lilies symbolise peace, while the crossed flags and the 1896 date record Utah's loyalty to the nation and its achievement of statehood. The governor commissioned the flag for the 1904 Louisiana Purchase Exposition in St. Louis, and it served as the state's emblem between 1903 and 1909, before formal adoption in 1911.

Printed on a Shot Glass

A shot glass is small and held close, so the seal reads at arm's length as the glass is raised. Its compact, straight-sided form suits a centred emblem like this one, and the clear glass lets the blue field and gold details show clearly against the table.

Compact, heavy-based shot glasses made from clear, restaurant-grade glass. One standard size (1.5 oz / ≈44.3 ml) — sturdy, stack-friendly, and built to handle frequent service without fuss.

These shot glasses feel solid in the hand thanks to a thick, weighty base that keeps them steady on busy bar tops. The walls are even and clear, giving a nice, unobstructed view of the pour; the rim is smoothed for comfortable sipping.

They’re engineered for regular use: consistent dimensions, dependable weight, and a simple silhouette that suits both casual venues and more formal tasting counters. Designed to perform rather than show off.

  • Material: 100% clear glass for pure clarity and clean presentation.
  • Capacity: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml) — standard shot measure.
  • Base: heavy solid glass base that reduces tipping and improves balance.
  • Construction: restaurant-grade durability for frequent handling and washing.
  • Print-ready: suitable for single-sided print applications that withstand typical use.

Perfect for quick pours, samplers, and neat shots. Their compact footprint makes them easy to place on trays and tasting lines, while the heavier base keeps things steady during service.

  1. Bar service: quick, consistent pours — less wobble when carrying a tray of shots.
  2. Tastings: uniform size is handy for sampling flights or spirit tastings.
  3. Events: robust enough for pop-ups, festivals, and busy bartending shifts.

Storage tip: store upright and avoid tight stacking to protect rims and preserve clarity.

Dishwasher-safe for everyday cleaning — place on the top rack and use a normal household cycle. Repeated exposure to very high commercial temperatures can shorten glass life, so choose gentler programs where practical.

When you want to extend clarity and finish: hand-wash with warm water, a mild detergent, and a soft cloth; dry right away to avoid water spots. Handle by the body (not the rim) to reduce accidental chipping.

One size only: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml). Use the dimensions below for shelving, packaging, or tray planning.
