1907-India-flag (India) Shot Glass 1.5oz

This design reproduces the 1907 Indian flag, a horizontal tricolour raised during the early struggle for Indian sovereignty and set with lotuses and a patriotic slogan.

Visual Elements & Composition

Three horizontal bands run the length of the flag, in green, golden saffron and red. Across the upper band sit eight lotus-style stars, the first one larger than the rest, and in this version a white sun with rays and a white crescent moon appear in the lower corners. The flat vector treatment keeps the bands bold and the emblems clean, and the Devanagari slogan adds a written line to the composition.

Meaning & Symbolism

The three bands are read as a statement of diversity, representing Islam, Hinduism and Buddhism in the early movement. The eight lotuses stand for the eight provinces of British India, and the slogan Vande Mataram, meaning "We Bow to thee Mother", gives the flag its voice. Madame Bhikaiji Cama first raised the design on 22 August 1907 at the International Socialist Congress in Stuttgart, Germany, and it was later adopted as the emblem of the Berlin Committee in 1914.

Shaped for the Shot

A shot glass is small and held close, so the lotuses and slogan are read at arm's length as the glass is raised. The compact, straight-sided form suits a horizontal layout like this one, and the clear glass lets the three bands of colour show plainly against whatever sits behind it.

Compact, heavy-based shot glasses made from clear, restaurant-grade glass. One standard size (1.5 oz / ≈44.3 ml) — sturdy, stack-friendly, and built to handle frequent service without fuss.

These shot glasses feel solid in the hand thanks to a thick, weighty base that keeps them steady on busy bar tops. The walls are even and clear, giving a nice, unobstructed view of the pour; the rim is smoothed for comfortable sipping.

They’re engineered for regular use: consistent dimensions, dependable weight, and a simple silhouette that suits both casual venues and more formal tasting counters. Designed to perform rather than show off.

  • Material: 100% clear glass for pure clarity and clean presentation.
  • Capacity: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml) — standard shot measure.
  • Base: heavy solid glass base that reduces tipping and improves balance.
  • Construction: restaurant-grade durability for frequent handling and washing.
  • Print-ready: suitable for single-sided print applications that withstand typical use.

Perfect for quick pours, samplers, and neat shots. Their compact footprint makes them easy to place on trays and tasting lines, while the heavier base keeps things steady during service.

  1. Bar service: quick, consistent pours — less wobble when carrying a tray of shots.
  2. Tastings: uniform size is handy for sampling flights or spirit tastings.
  3. Events: robust enough for pop-ups, festivals, and busy bartending shifts.

Storage tip: store upright and avoid tight stacking to protect rims and preserve clarity.

Dishwasher-safe for everyday cleaning — place on the top rack and use a normal household cycle. Repeated exposure to very high commercial temperatures can shorten glass life, so choose gentler programs where practical.

When you want to extend clarity and finish: hand-wash with warm water, a mild detergent, and a soft cloth; dry right away to avoid water spots. Handle by the body (not the rim) to reduce accidental chipping.

One size only: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml). Use the dimensions below for shelving, packaging, or tray planning.
