1er regiment dinfanterie de marine - drapeau (France) Shot Glass 1.5oz

This design shows the regimental flag of the 1er Régiment d'Infanterie de Marine, the French colonial infantry unit known as the 1er RIMa, rendered as a flat tricolour with its battle honours.

Visual Elements & Composition

The French Tricolour in blue, white and red forms the base, with the blue and red bands carrying the strongest contrast. Small touches of gold mark the decorations at the top of the field. The layout is centred and rectangular, with the honours set in rows so that the flag reads as a document as much as an emblem. The style is flat vector, clean and formal.

Meaning & Symbolism

The inscriptions list the regiment's engagements, from Bomarsund in 1854 and Pei-Ho in 1860 to Bazeilles in 1870, the Marne in 1914, Champagne in 1915, Dobropolje in 1918 and Tobruk in 1941. The decorations on the flag include the Legion of Honour and the Croix de Guerre. The regiment was founded in 1822, and its colours were destroyed in combat three times, in 1870, 1914 and 1940, so that they would not fall into enemy hands. The design honours that record of loss and renewal.

Read Up Close on a Shot Glass

A 1.5oz shot glass is small and held near the eye, so the rows of honours are best taken in at close range as the glass is turned. The flag is seen whole rather than at a distance, and each line of text becomes a small part of the story. It is a design that asks to be read slowly.

Compact, heavy-based shot glasses made from clear, restaurant-grade glass. One standard size (1.5 oz / ≈44.3 ml) — sturdy, stack-friendly, and built to handle frequent service without fuss.

These shot glasses feel solid in the hand thanks to a thick, weighty base that keeps them steady on busy bar tops. The walls are even and clear, giving a nice, unobstructed view of the pour; the rim is smoothed for comfortable sipping.

They’re engineered for regular use: consistent dimensions, dependable weight, and a simple silhouette that suits both casual venues and more formal tasting counters. Designed to perform rather than show off.

  • Material: 100% clear glass for pure clarity and clean presentation.
  • Capacity: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml) — standard shot measure.
  • Base: heavy solid glass base that reduces tipping and improves balance.
  • Construction: restaurant-grade durability for frequent handling and washing.
  • Print-ready: suitable for single-sided print applications that withstand typical use.

Perfect for quick pours, samplers, and neat shots. Their compact footprint makes them easy to place on trays and tasting lines, while the heavier base keeps things steady during service.

  1. Bar service: quick, consistent pours — less wobble when carrying a tray of shots.
  2. Tastings: uniform size is handy for sampling flights or spirit tastings.
  3. Events: robust enough for pop-ups, festivals, and busy bartending shifts.

Storage tip: store upright and avoid tight stacking to protect rims and preserve clarity.

Dishwasher-safe for everyday cleaning — place on the top rack and use a normal household cycle. Repeated exposure to very high commercial temperatures can shorten glass life, so choose gentler programs where practical.

When you want to extend clarity and finish: hand-wash with warm water, a mild detergent, and a soft cloth; dry right away to avoid water spots. Handle by the body (not the rim) to reduce accidental chipping.

One size only: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml). Use the dimensions below for shelving, packaging, or tray planning.
