201e regiment dinfanterie-drapeau (France) Shot Glass 1.5oz

A flat vector regimental flag built on the French tricolour, carrying gold battle honors and the ribbons of two military decorations.

Visual Elements & Composition

Vertical bands of blue, white and red form the ground, with the blue hoist and red fly framing a central white band. Gold lettering runs across the field with LA SOMME 1916, FLANDRES 1917 and L'OURCQ 1918, and these inscriptions carry the composition. The ribbon of the Médaille militaire and the Croix de Guerre 1914-1918, with its four palms and two silver stars, is attached to the staff side, a compact cluster of decoration that breaks up the stripes.

Meaning & Symbolism

The tricolour is the national emblem of France, and the regiment's colours follow the standardised regimental flag regulations set out in 1880. The 201st Infantry Regiment was formed during the mobilisation for the First World War. Its three battle honors name the Somme, Flanders and the Ourcq, and the decorations on the flag record the honours the unit won in those campaigns. The design holds the flag as a solemn record of the unit's combat history.

Close to the Eye

A shot glass is small and held close, so the gold inscriptions and the decoration ribbon read at the level of the eye as the glass is lifted. The narrow form of the vessel suits a vertical flag, and the blue, white and red bands climb the side of the glass in a clean line.

Compact, heavy-based shot glasses made from clear, restaurant-grade glass. One standard size (1.5 oz / ≈44.3 ml) — sturdy, stack-friendly, and built to handle frequent service without fuss.

These shot glasses feel solid in the hand thanks to a thick, weighty base that keeps them steady on busy bar tops. The walls are even and clear, giving a nice, unobstructed view of the pour; the rim is smoothed for comfortable sipping.

They’re engineered for regular use: consistent dimensions, dependable weight, and a simple silhouette that suits both casual venues and more formal tasting counters. Designed to perform rather than show off.

  • Material: 100% clear glass for pure clarity and clean presentation.
  • Capacity: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml) — standard shot measure.
  • Base: heavy solid glass base that reduces tipping and improves balance.
  • Construction: restaurant-grade durability for frequent handling and washing.
  • Print-ready: suitable for single-sided print applications that withstand typical use.

Perfect for quick pours, samplers, and neat shots. Their compact footprint makes them easy to place on trays and tasting lines, while the heavier base keeps things steady during service.

  1. Bar service: quick, consistent pours — less wobble when carrying a tray of shots.
  2. Tastings: uniform size is handy for sampling flights or spirit tastings.
  3. Events: robust enough for pop-ups, festivals, and busy bartending shifts.

Storage tip: store upright and avoid tight stacking to protect rims and preserve clarity.

Dishwasher-safe for everyday cleaning — place on the top rack and use a normal household cycle. Repeated exposure to very high commercial temperatures can shorten glass life, so choose gentler programs where practical.

When you want to extend clarity and finish: hand-wash with warm water, a mild detergent, and a soft cloth; dry right away to avoid water spots. Handle by the body (not the rim) to reduce accidental chipping.

One size only: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml). Use the dimensions below for shelving, packaging, or tray planning.
