21e regiment dinfanterie de ligne - drapeau (France) Shot Glass 1.5oz

The regimental standard of a French line infantry unit, its vertical tricolour carrying a long roll of battle honours from the Napoleonic wars to the twentieth century.

Visual Elements & Composition

Blue, white and red run down the flag in three vertical bands, with gold appearing only as a thin accent in the lettering. The honours are set across the field in capitals, arranged in rows, so the text forms a dense pattern that gives the flag its texture. The layout is a plain rectangle, formal and orderly, with the inscriptions doing all the decorative work.

Meaning & Symbolism

The honours record the actions the regiment fought in, beginning with Wagram in 1809 and Moskowa in 1812 and running through Sebastopol in 1854-55, Solferino in 1859, Verdun in 1916 and Somme-Py in 1918. Later entries include La Malmaison in 1917 and the Afn honour for 1952-1962, which brings the record into the second half of the twentieth century. Each name marks a campaign in which the regiment's colours were carried, so the standard works as a chronicle of French line infantry service across more than a century.

Read at Close Range

A shot glass is small and held close, so the lettering is read at near range, the rows of honours resolving as the glass is raised. The blue, white and red bands read clearly against the clear glass, and the design wraps the full circle of the glass, so the inscriptions appear from any side of the table.

Compact, heavy-based shot glasses made from clear, restaurant-grade glass. One standard size (1.5 oz / ≈44.3 ml) — sturdy, stack-friendly, and built to handle frequent service without fuss.

These shot glasses feel solid in the hand thanks to a thick, weighty base that keeps them steady on busy bar tops. The walls are even and clear, giving a nice, unobstructed view of the pour; the rim is smoothed for comfortable sipping.

They’re engineered for regular use: consistent dimensions, dependable weight, and a simple silhouette that suits both casual venues and more formal tasting counters. Designed to perform rather than show off.

  • Material: 100% clear glass for pure clarity and clean presentation.
  • Capacity: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml) — standard shot measure.
  • Base: heavy solid glass base that reduces tipping and improves balance.
  • Construction: restaurant-grade durability for frequent handling and washing.
  • Print-ready: suitable for single-sided print applications that withstand typical use.

Perfect for quick pours, samplers, and neat shots. Their compact footprint makes them easy to place on trays and tasting lines, while the heavier base keeps things steady during service.

  1. Bar service: quick, consistent pours — less wobble when carrying a tray of shots.
  2. Tastings: uniform size is handy for sampling flights or spirit tastings.
  3. Events: robust enough for pop-ups, festivals, and busy bartending shifts.

Storage tip: store upright and avoid tight stacking to protect rims and preserve clarity.

Dishwasher-safe for everyday cleaning — place on the top rack and use a normal household cycle. Repeated exposure to very high commercial temperatures can shorten glass life, so choose gentler programs where practical.

When you want to extend clarity and finish: hand-wash with warm water, a mild detergent, and a soft cloth; dry right away to avoid water spots. Handle by the body (not the rim) to reduce accidental chipping.

One size only: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml). Use the dimensions below for shelving, packaging, or tray planning.
