26e regiment dinfanterie de ligne - drapeau (France) Shot Glass 1.5oz

This design depicts the regimental flag of the 26th Line Infantry Regiment of France, a tricolour banner covered with the names of its battles.

Visual Elements & Composition

Vertical bands of blue, white and red make up the tricolour that forms the ground of the banner, with a little gold in the detailing. The layout is a single upright rectangle, centred and formal. Across it run ten engagement names in a stacked list: FLEURUS 1794, CONSTANTINE 1837, BENI-MERED 1842, SÉBASTOPOL 1854-55, LORRAINE 1914, ARTOIS 1914-1915, VERDUN 1916, L'AISNE 1917-1918, RÉSISTANCE DORDOGNE 1944 and AFN 1952-1962. The flat vector finish keeps the lettering sharp.

Meaning & Symbolism

A regimental banner records a unit's service, and this one does so across more than a century and a half. The names run from the Revolutionary wars at Fleurus in 1794, through the Algerian campaigns at Constantine and Beni-Mered, the Crimean War at Sébastopol, and the First World War engagements at Lorraine, Artois, Verdun and the Aisne. The later entries reach the Dordogne resistance of 1944 and the North African campaigns of 1952 to 1962. The tricolour ties the record to the French nation.

On the Shot Glass

A shot glass is small and held close, so the battle names are read one by one at arm's length, the way a regimental roll is read aloud. The bold blue, white and red bands run up the straight sides of the glass, and the centred layout keeps the list balanced as the glass is turned. It makes a good addition to a shelf of military history pieces.

Compact, heavy-based shot glasses made from clear, restaurant-grade glass. One standard size (1.5 oz / ≈44.3 ml) — sturdy, stack-friendly, and built to handle frequent service without fuss.

These shot glasses feel solid in the hand thanks to a thick, weighty base that keeps them steady on busy bar tops. The walls are even and clear, giving a nice, unobstructed view of the pour; the rim is smoothed for comfortable sipping.

They’re engineered for regular use: consistent dimensions, dependable weight, and a simple silhouette that suits both casual venues and more formal tasting counters. Designed to perform rather than show off.

  • Material: 100% clear glass for pure clarity and clean presentation.
  • Capacity: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml) — standard shot measure.
  • Base: heavy solid glass base that reduces tipping and improves balance.
  • Construction: restaurant-grade durability for frequent handling and washing.
  • Print-ready: suitable for single-sided print applications that withstand typical use.

Perfect for quick pours, samplers, and neat shots. Their compact footprint makes them easy to place on trays and tasting lines, while the heavier base keeps things steady during service.

  1. Bar service: quick, consistent pours — less wobble when carrying a tray of shots.
  2. Tastings: uniform size is handy for sampling flights or spirit tastings.
  3. Events: robust enough for pop-ups, festivals, and busy bartending shifts.

Storage tip: store upright and avoid tight stacking to protect rims and preserve clarity.

Dishwasher-safe for everyday cleaning — place on the top rack and use a normal household cycle. Repeated exposure to very high commercial temperatures can shorten glass life, so choose gentler programs where practical.

When you want to extend clarity and finish: hand-wash with warm water, a mild detergent, and a soft cloth; dry right away to avoid water spots. Handle by the body (not the rim) to reduce accidental chipping.

One size only: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml). Use the dimensions below for shelving, packaging, or tray planning.
