Description
Blazoned: Or, a bend Vert, overall an Indian on horseback affronté brandishing a carbine in his dexter hand, with the Indian's head and the bay horse facing dexter, all Proper, within a diminished bordure Gules. Attached below and to the sides of the shield is a gold scroll inscribed "OMNIA VIRTUTE" in red letters.

Symbolism
The yellow shield signifies Cavalry. The green bend represents New Mexico, while the Indian on horseback symbolizes Oklahoma and Arizona, where the Regiment is allocated. The red diminished bordure denotes the unit's past service as Field Artillery. The motto translates to "All By Valor."
