32e regiment dartillerie (France) Shot Glass 1.5oz

This design reproduces the insignia of the French 32nd Artillery Regiment, a vertical tricolour of blue, white and red with gold detail and five battle honours.

Visual Elements & Composition

The tricolour runs in three vertical bands of blue, white and red, and dominates the composition. Gold accents add the formal heraldic touch. Five battle names are lettered across the emblem: L'YSER 1914, VERDUN 1916, LA MALMAISON 1917, L'AVRE 1918 and LA MARNE 1918. The flat vector style and the rectangular, striped layout give the piece a clean, formal look.

Meaning & Symbolism

The battle honours record the regiment's service in the First World War, from the Yser in 1914 through Verdun and the Marne. The regiment was an artillery unit of the French Army, active from 1873 to 1999, and it also served in the Second World War and the Algerian War. In its later years it operated nuclear artillery with the Pluton missile, garrisoned at Oberhoffen-sur-Moder. Its motto, Œil pour œil, dent pour dent, is set into its heritage, and the design is a tribute to French artillery tradition.

In the Hand

A shot glass is small and held close, so the emblem and its dated inscriptions are read at arm's length, as the glass is lifted and turned. The compact, straight-sided form suits a banner of vertical bands and short lettered lines.

Compact, heavy-based shot glasses made from clear, restaurant-grade glass. One standard size (1.5 oz / ≈44.3 ml) — sturdy, stack-friendly, and built to handle frequent service without fuss.

These shot glasses feel solid in the hand thanks to a thick, weighty base that keeps them steady on busy bar tops. The walls are even and clear, giving a nice, unobstructed view of the pour; the rim is smoothed for comfortable sipping.

They’re engineered for regular use: consistent dimensions, dependable weight, and a simple silhouette that suits both casual venues and more formal tasting counters. Designed to perform rather than show off.

  • Material: 100% clear glass for pure clarity and clean presentation.
  • Capacity: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml) — standard shot measure.
  • Base: heavy solid glass base that reduces tipping and improves balance.
  • Construction: restaurant-grade durability for frequent handling and washing.
  • Print-ready: suitable for single-sided print applications that withstand typical use.

Perfect for quick pours, samplers, and neat shots. Their compact footprint makes them easy to place on trays and tasting lines, while the heavier base keeps things steady during service.

  1. Bar service: quick, consistent pours — less wobble when carrying a tray of shots.
  2. Tastings: uniform size is handy for sampling flights or spirit tastings.
  3. Events: robust enough for pop-ups, festivals, and busy bartending shifts.

Storage tip: store upright and avoid tight stacking to protect rims and preserve clarity.

Dishwasher-safe for everyday cleaning — place on the top rack and use a normal household cycle. Repeated exposure to very high commercial temperatures can shorten glass life, so choose gentler programs where practical.

When you want to extend clarity and finish: hand-wash with warm water, a mild detergent, and a soft cloth; dry right away to avoid water spots. Handle by the body (not the rim) to reduce accidental chipping.

One size only: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml). Use the dimensions below for shelving, packaging, or tray planning.
