33e regiment de tirailleurs algeriens-drapeau (France) Shot Glass 1.5oz

A French tricolour regimental flag, with gold battle honours from the Somme and Champagne embroidered across the blue, white and red stripes.

Visual Elements & Composition

Three vertical stripes, navy blue, white and crimson red, make up the field, with the white band at the centre. The gold honours stand out against the stripes in capitals: LA SOMME 1916, CHAMPAGNE 1918 and LA SERRE 1918. The text carries most of the visual weight, and the flat vector style keeps the lettering sharp and legible.

Meaning & Symbolism

The honours were inherited from the 1er Régiment de Marche de Tirailleurs Algériens, the unit from which this regiment was formed. The 33e Régiment de Tirailleurs Algériens was constituted on 1 October 1920 within the French Army of Africa, and it was active in two periods, 1920 to 1924 and again in 1940. Each inscription names a battle of the First World War, so the flag holds a record of service in that conflict.

Reading the Honours at Close Range

The lettering on a shot glass is read at close range, with the glass lifted to the eye and the words turned into view. The three inscriptions are short enough to take in with a single glance, and the stripes frame them neatly. The design gives a small object a clear and dignified purpose.

Compact, heavy-based shot glasses made from clear, restaurant-grade glass. One standard size (1.5 oz / ≈44.3 ml) — sturdy, stack-friendly, and built to handle frequent service without fuss.

These shot glasses feel solid in the hand thanks to a thick, weighty base that keeps them steady on busy bar tops. The walls are even and clear, giving a nice, unobstructed view of the pour; the rim is smoothed for comfortable sipping.

They’re engineered for regular use: consistent dimensions, dependable weight, and a simple silhouette that suits both casual venues and more formal tasting counters. Designed to perform rather than show off.

  • Material: 100% clear glass for pure clarity and clean presentation.
  • Capacity: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml) — standard shot measure.
  • Base: heavy solid glass base that reduces tipping and improves balance.
  • Construction: restaurant-grade durability for frequent handling and washing.
  • Print-ready: suitable for single-sided print applications that withstand typical use.

Perfect for quick pours, samplers, and neat shots. Their compact footprint makes them easy to place on trays and tasting lines, while the heavier base keeps things steady during service.

  1. Bar service: quick, consistent pours — less wobble when carrying a tray of shots.
  2. Tastings: uniform size is handy for sampling flights or spirit tastings.
  3. Events: robust enough for pop-ups, festivals, and busy bartending shifts.

Storage tip: store upright and avoid tight stacking to protect rims and preserve clarity.

Dishwasher-safe for everyday cleaning — place on the top rack and use a normal household cycle. Repeated exposure to very high commercial temperatures can shorten glass life, so choose gentler programs where practical.

When you want to extend clarity and finish: hand-wash with warm water, a mild detergent, and a soft cloth; dry right away to avoid water spots. Handle by the body (not the rim) to reduce accidental chipping.

One size only: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml). Use the dimensions below for shelving, packaging, or tray planning.
