37e regiment dinfanterie de ligne - drapeau (France) Shot Glass 1.5oz

A vertical tricolour of royal blue, white and red, set out as the standard of the 37th Line Infantry Regiment of France and marked with the battles it fought.

Visual Elements & Composition

The flag is a plain vertical tricolour, with royal blue at the hoist, white in the centre and red at the fly. The three bands carry equal weight and share the field evenly, and a small amount of gold appears in the lettering. The layout is a single rectangle with no ornament beyond the bands and the inscriptions. The battle names run across the flag in capitals, so the text sits within the pattern rather than above it.

Meaning & Symbolism

The inscriptions name Zurich in 1799, Polotsk in 1812, Alger in 1830, Solferino in 1859, and a run of First World War actions in Lorraine and Flanders in 1914, Verdun in 1916 and Champagne in 1918. Together they span from the Revolutionary wars to the trenches of 1914 to 1918. A regimental standard carried these honours as a record of the unit's service, and the tricolour places the regiment within the French army.

In the Hand of the Glass

A shot glass is small and held close, so the battle names come into reading distance as the glass is raised. The three bands wrap around the glass as it is turned, and each inscription reveals itself as the glass moves. The gold touches on the lettering catch the light at the rim.

Compact, heavy-based shot glasses made from clear, restaurant-grade glass. One standard size (1.5 oz / ≈44.3 ml) — sturdy, stack-friendly, and built to handle frequent service without fuss.

These shot glasses feel solid in the hand thanks to a thick, weighty base that keeps them steady on busy bar tops. The walls are even and clear, giving a nice, unobstructed view of the pour; the rim is smoothed for comfortable sipping.

They’re engineered for regular use: consistent dimensions, dependable weight, and a simple silhouette that suits both casual venues and more formal tasting counters. Designed to perform rather than show off.

  • Material: 100% clear glass for pure clarity and clean presentation.
  • Capacity: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml) — standard shot measure.
  • Base: heavy solid glass base that reduces tipping and improves balance.
  • Construction: restaurant-grade durability for frequent handling and washing.
  • Print-ready: suitable for single-sided print applications that withstand typical use.

Perfect for quick pours, samplers, and neat shots. Their compact footprint makes them easy to place on trays and tasting lines, while the heavier base keeps things steady during service.

  1. Bar service: quick, consistent pours — less wobble when carrying a tray of shots.
  2. Tastings: uniform size is handy for sampling flights or spirit tastings.
  3. Events: robust enough for pop-ups, festivals, and busy bartending shifts.

Storage tip: store upright and avoid tight stacking to protect rims and preserve clarity.

Dishwasher-safe for everyday cleaning — place on the top rack and use a normal household cycle. Repeated exposure to very high commercial temperatures can shorten glass life, so choose gentler programs where practical.

When you want to extend clarity and finish: hand-wash with warm water, a mild detergent, and a soft cloth; dry right away to avoid water spots. Handle by the body (not the rim) to reduce accidental chipping.

One size only: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml). Use the dimensions below for shelving, packaging, or tray planning.
