The 38th Cyberspace Readiness Squadron (38 CR Sq) is a United States Air Force unit based at Vandenberg Space Force Base, California. This squadron falls under the operational jurisdiction of the 14th Air Force and the Air Force Reserve Command's 94th Airlift Wing. The primary role of the 38 CR Sq is to ensure the readiness of cyberspace operations in support of global air, space, and cyber defense missions. This includes network operations, information assurance, cybersecurity, and more. The squadron's activities are integral to maintaining the U.S.'s defensive cyber posture against potential threats from adversaries. Established on October 1, 2017, the 38 CR Sq replaced the discontinued 38th Space Operations Squadron. It is staffed by active-duty Air Force personnel as well as reservists.
