Description/Blazon
Azure, semé of bees Or, a cross Argent, on a canton of the last two saltires of the field.
Symbolism
The blue shield represents Infantry. The canton signifies the regiment's origins from the 20th Infantry, organized at Fort Douglas, Utah, in May 1917. The bees are derived from the arms of Utah, while the cross reflects the regiment's current recruitment from Puerto Rico, inspired by the old banner of the island.
Background
The coat of arms was approved on 4 June 1921 and rescinded/cancelled on 28 January 1959.
