503e regiment de chars de combat - drapeau (France) Shot Glass 1.5oz

This design depicts the standard of the 503rd Tank Regiment of the French Army, a tricolour flag inscribed with four battle honours from 1918.

Visual Elements & Composition

Three vertical bands of navy blue, white and red fill the flag, with the blue at the hoist and the red at the fly. Gold lettering runs across the field and reads "SOISSONAIS 1918", "MONTDIDIER 1918", "VAUXAILLON 1918" and "LA LYS 1918". Those four honours are the only text, and they give the design its character. The upright layout is plain and rectangular, with flat colour and no shading.

Meaning & Symbolism

The tricolour places the regiment within the French Army. Each inscription names a battle of the First World War's final year, which is the period when the unit was first formed. The honours record the regiment's service in that campaign, and the flag keeps that record as its main subject. The regiment was reconstituted in 1951 and dissolved in 2009, so the banner stands for a unit whose identity was set in 1918.

Held at Arm's Length

A shot glass is small and held close, so the flag is seen at arm's length as the glass is raised. The bold stripes read clearly at that size, and the gold inscriptions are easiest to make out when the glass is turned toward the eye.

Compact, heavy-based shot glasses made from clear, restaurant-grade glass. One standard size (1.5 oz / ≈44.3 ml) — sturdy, stack-friendly, and built to handle frequent service without fuss.

These shot glasses feel solid in the hand thanks to a thick, weighty base that keeps them steady on busy bar tops. The walls are even and clear, giving a nice, unobstructed view of the pour; the rim is smoothed for comfortable sipping.

They’re engineered for regular use: consistent dimensions, dependable weight, and a simple silhouette that suits both casual venues and more formal tasting counters. Designed to perform rather than show off.

  • Material: 100% clear glass for pure clarity and clean presentation.
  • Capacity: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml) — standard shot measure.
  • Base: heavy solid glass base that reduces tipping and improves balance.
  • Construction: restaurant-grade durability for frequent handling and washing.
  • Print-ready: suitable for single-sided print applications that withstand typical use.

Perfect for quick pours, samplers, and neat shots. Their compact footprint makes them easy to place on trays and tasting lines, while the heavier base keeps things steady during service.

  1. Bar service: quick, consistent pours — less wobble when carrying a tray of shots.
  2. Tastings: uniform size is handy for sampling flights or spirit tastings.
  3. Events: robust enough for pop-ups, festivals, and busy bartending shifts.

Storage tip: store upright and avoid tight stacking to protect rims and preserve clarity.

Dishwasher-safe for everyday cleaning — place on the top rack and use a normal household cycle. Repeated exposure to very high commercial temperatures can shorten glass life, so choose gentler programs where practical.

When you want to extend clarity and finish: hand-wash with warm water, a mild detergent, and a soft cloth; dry right away to avoid water spots. Handle by the body (not the rim) to reduce accidental chipping.

One size only: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml). Use the dimensions below for shelving, packaging, or tray planning.
