503e regiment du train.drapeau (France) Shot Glass 1.5oz

This design shows the regimental colours of the 503rd Regiment du Train, a French military transport unit, built on the national tricolour with three embroidered honours.

Visual Elements & Composition

Three vertical bands of blue, white and red make up the flag, each taking close to a third of the width. A small amount of yellow-gold is used for the embroidery. The three honours, "ITALIE 1944", "INDOCHINE 1947-1954" and "AFN 1952-1962", are set in capitals and sit within the tricolour. The layout is an upright rectangle with flat colour and no shading, so the stripes and lettering are the whole composition.

Meaning & Symbolism

The tricolour identifies the regiment as part of the French national army. The three honours mark the campaigns the unit took part in: Italy in 1944, Indochina from 1947 to 1954, and North Africa from 1952 to 1962. The regiment was first established on 16 October 1943 and re-formed on 1 July 1978, so its colours trace a service history that runs from the Second World War into the decades that followed.

On the Shot Glass

A shot glass is small and held close, so the flag is viewed at arm's length as the glass is lifted. The vertical bands read clearly at that scale, and the inscriptions are easiest to pick out when the glass is turned toward the eye.

Compact, heavy-based shot glasses made from clear, restaurant-grade glass. One standard size (1.5 oz / ≈44.3 ml) — sturdy, stack-friendly, and built to handle frequent service without fuss.

These shot glasses feel solid in the hand thanks to a thick, weighty base that keeps them steady on busy bar tops. The walls are even and clear, giving a nice, unobstructed view of the pour; the rim is smoothed for comfortable sipping.

They’re engineered for regular use: consistent dimensions, dependable weight, and a simple silhouette that suits both casual venues and more formal tasting counters. Designed to perform rather than show off.

  • Material: 100% clear glass for pure clarity and clean presentation.
  • Capacity: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml) — standard shot measure.
  • Base: heavy solid glass base that reduces tipping and improves balance.
  • Construction: restaurant-grade durability for frequent handling and washing.
  • Print-ready: suitable for single-sided print applications that withstand typical use.

Perfect for quick pours, samplers, and neat shots. Their compact footprint makes them easy to place on trays and tasting lines, while the heavier base keeps things steady during service.

  1. Bar service: quick, consistent pours — less wobble when carrying a tray of shots.
  2. Tastings: uniform size is handy for sampling flights or spirit tastings.
  3. Events: robust enough for pop-ups, festivals, and busy bartending shifts.

Storage tip: store upright and avoid tight stacking to protect rims and preserve clarity.

Dishwasher-safe for everyday cleaning — place on the top rack and use a normal household cycle. Repeated exposure to very high commercial temperatures can shorten glass life, so choose gentler programs where practical.

When you want to extend clarity and finish: hand-wash with warm water, a mild detergent, and a soft cloth; dry right away to avoid water spots. Handle by the body (not the rim) to reduce accidental chipping.

One size only: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml). Use the dimensions below for shelving, packaging, or tray planning.
