6th Malaga Flag 1810 (Spain) Shot Glass 1.5oz

This design reproduces the 1810 flag of the 6th Infantry Regiment 'Málaga', a unit that served under the Spanish regime of Joseph Bonaparte.

Visual Elements & Composition

Red dominates the field, with white and touches of gold and blue around the central emblem. The composition is built around a heraldic shield, with a crowned royal coat of arms at its heart. Figures include a castle, a lion rampant, a pomegranate, the pillars of Hercules and a seven-pointed star, with the number 6 and the inscriptions PLVS and VLTRA set into the design.

Meaning & Symbolism

The shield quarters stand for the realms of Castile, León, Aragon, Navarre and the Indies, the traditional kingdoms of Spain. At its centre sits the French imperial eagle, surrounded by the collar of the Order of Spain. The combination was deliberate: it fused old Spanish heraldry with Napoleonic authority to lend legitimacy to the French-backed monarchy. The flag was regulated by royal decree in March 1809 and carried by the regiment between 1810 and 1812.

Carried Close on the Glass

A shot glass is small and held close, so the shield, the central eagle and the bold red field stay clear at a glance on the bar. The tall, narrow form suits a single upright emblem, and the number at the heart of the design reads easily from the hand.

Compact, heavy-based shot glasses made from clear, restaurant-grade glass. One standard size (1.5 oz / ≈44.3 ml) — sturdy, stack-friendly, and built to handle frequent service without fuss.

These shot glasses feel solid in the hand thanks to a thick, weighty base that keeps them steady on busy bar tops. The walls are even and clear, giving a nice, unobstructed view of the pour; the rim is smoothed for comfortable sipping.

They’re engineered for regular use: consistent dimensions, dependable weight, and a simple silhouette that suits both casual venues and more formal tasting counters. Designed to perform rather than show off.

  • Material: 100% clear glass for pure clarity and clean presentation.
  • Capacity: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml) — standard shot measure.
  • Base: heavy solid glass base that reduces tipping and improves balance.
  • Construction: restaurant-grade durability for frequent handling and washing.
  • Print-ready: suitable for single-sided print applications that withstand typical use.

Perfect for quick pours, samplers, and neat shots. Their compact footprint makes them easy to place on trays and tasting lines, while the heavier base keeps things steady during service.

  1. Bar service: quick, consistent pours — less wobble when carrying a tray of shots.
  2. Tastings: uniform size is handy for sampling flights or spirit tastings.
  3. Events: robust enough for pop-ups, festivals, and busy bartending shifts.

Storage tip: store upright and avoid tight stacking to protect rims and preserve clarity.

Dishwasher-safe for everyday cleaning — place on the top rack and use a normal household cycle. Repeated exposure to very high commercial temperatures can shorten glass life, so choose gentler programs where practical.

When you want to extend clarity and finish: hand-wash with warm water, a mild detergent, and a soft cloth; dry right away to avoid water spots. Handle by the body (not the rim) to reduce accidental chipping.

One size only: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml). Use the dimensions below for shelving, packaging, or tray planning.
