Air Force Ensign of India (India) Shot Glass 1.5oz

This design shows the Indian Air Force ensign on a sky blue field, with the national tricolour, the air force roundel and a gold crest set into the flag.

Visual Elements & Composition

Sky blue covers most of the rectangle, and the saffron, white and green of the national colours appear in the canton and roundel. The Indian national flag sits in the upper canton, the concentric roundel occupies the fly, and a gold crest with a ribbon badge fills the top corner. Small Devanagari lettering appears on the crest's badge. The composition is orderly and layered, with each emblem placed in its own clear space.

Meaning & Symbolism

The light blue field stands for the sky the air force operates in. The national flag denotes sovereignty, and the roundel identifies the service. The crest, added in its modernised form in 2023, carries the Ashoka lion and the motto Satyameva Jayate, with a Himalayan eagle that represents fighting spirit. Its second motto, Nabha Sparsham Deeptam, is taken from the Bhagavad Gita, linking the service's ideals to its heritage.

Close to the Eye

A 1.5oz shot glass is small and held close, so the crest and the roundel reveal their detail at close range as the glass is raised. The clear glass lets the sky blue field read as a single bright plane, and the solid base keeps the glass steady as it is turned to bring the crest round for a closer look.

Compact, heavy-based shot glasses made from clear, restaurant-grade glass. One standard size (1.5 oz / ≈44.3 ml) — sturdy, stack-friendly, and built to handle frequent service without fuss.

These shot glasses feel solid in the hand thanks to a thick, weighty base that keeps them steady on busy bar tops. The walls are even and clear, giving a nice, unobstructed view of the pour; the rim is smoothed for comfortable sipping.

They’re engineered for regular use: consistent dimensions, dependable weight, and a simple silhouette that suits both casual venues and more formal tasting counters. Designed to perform rather than show off.

  • Material: 100% clear glass for pure clarity and clean presentation.
  • Capacity: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml) — standard shot measure.
  • Base: heavy solid glass base that reduces tipping and improves balance.
  • Construction: restaurant-grade durability for frequent handling and washing.
  • Print-ready: suitable for single-sided print applications that withstand typical use.

Perfect for quick pours, samplers, and neat shots. Their compact footprint makes them easy to place on trays and tasting lines, while the heavier base keeps things steady during service.

  1. Bar service: quick, consistent pours — less wobble when carrying a tray of shots.
  2. Tastings: uniform size is handy for sampling flights or spirit tastings.
  3. Events: robust enough for pop-ups, festivals, and busy bartending shifts.

Storage tip: store upright and avoid tight stacking to protect rims and preserve clarity.

Dishwasher-safe for everyday cleaning — place on the top rack and use a normal household cycle. Repeated exposure to very high commercial temperatures can shorten glass life, so choose gentler programs where practical.

When you want to extend clarity and finish: hand-wash with warm water, a mild detergent, and a soft cloth; dry right away to avoid water spots. Handle by the body (not the rim) to reduce accidental chipping.

One size only: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml). Use the dimensions below for shelving, packaging, or tray planning.
