Al Jama-ah party flag (South Africa) Shot Glass 1.5oz

A bold, flat-vector emblem built around a single white Arabic letter, this design reproduces the flag of a South African political party in a format that stands out on a glass.

Visual Elements & Composition

The field is split into horizontal bands of green, black and red, with black taking the largest share and green close behind. Centred across the tricolour sits a large white Arabic-script letter, the jīm (ج), with a small diamond-shaped dot beneath it. The white letter is the only light element in the layout, so the eye lands on it at once. The rectangular format keeps the composition simple and high in contrast.

Meaning & Symbolism

The jīm is the first letter of the party's name, Al Jama-ah, so the emblem works as a monogram that identifies the organisation through its own initial. The green, black and red palette is widely associated with Islamic symbolism, and the flag has been used by the party since its founding on 23 April 2007. The design is a formal statement of identity, not a decorative motif.

Reading the Glass

A shot glass is small and held close, so the central letter and the stark colour bands read clearly at arm's length on the side of the glass. The white jīm sits in the middle of the tumbler's visible face, where the high-contrast palette carries well against the clear glass.

Compact, heavy-based shot glasses made from clear, restaurant-grade glass. One standard size (1.5 oz / ≈44.3 ml) — sturdy, stack-friendly, and built to handle frequent service without fuss.

These shot glasses feel solid in the hand thanks to a thick, weighty base that keeps them steady on busy bar tops. The walls are even and clear, giving a nice, unobstructed view of the pour; the rim is smoothed for comfortable sipping.

They’re engineered for regular use: consistent dimensions, dependable weight, and a simple silhouette that suits both casual venues and more formal tasting counters. Designed to perform rather than show off.

  • Material: 100% clear glass for pure clarity and clean presentation.
  • Capacity: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml) — standard shot measure.
  • Base: heavy solid glass base that reduces tipping and improves balance.
  • Construction: restaurant-grade durability for frequent handling and washing.
  • Print-ready: suitable for single-sided print applications that withstand typical use.

Perfect for quick pours, samplers, and neat shots. Their compact footprint makes them easy to place on trays and tasting lines, while the heavier base keeps things steady during service.

  1. Bar service: quick, consistent pours — less wobble when carrying a tray of shots.
  2. Tastings: uniform size is handy for sampling flights or spirit tastings.
  3. Events: robust enough for pop-ups, festivals, and busy bartending shifts.

Storage tip: store upright and avoid tight stacking to protect rims and preserve clarity.

Dishwasher-safe for everyday cleaning — place on the top rack and use a normal household cycle. Repeated exposure to very high commercial temperatures can shorten glass life, so choose gentler programs where practical.

When you want to extend clarity and finish: hand-wash with warm water, a mild detergent, and a soft cloth; dry right away to avoid water spots. Handle by the body (not the rim) to reduce accidental chipping.

One size only: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml). Use the dimensions below for shelving, packaging, or tray planning.
