Alagna Valsesia-Gonfalone (Italy) Shot Glass 1.5oz

A heraldic, flat-vector banner that brings together the emblems of two Piedmont communities on a single formal field of blue, red and silver.

Visual Elements & Composition

The design is divided into three stacked sections. The upper section shows the southern slope of Monte Rosa on blue, the middle section carries a silver eagle on red with two mountains, and the lower section shows a church with two pointed bell towers against a mountain range on blue. A heraldic shield sits at the centre, framed by a laurel wreath and a mural crown, with the ribbon of the Italian flag at the base. The lettering reads COMUNE DI ALAGNA VALSESIA, and the motto EXCELSIOR appears beside the eagle.

Meaning & Symbolism

The emblem fuses the former coats of arms of Alagna and Riva Valdobbia, granted by presidential decree on 1 December 2021. Monte Rosa, the peak that dominates the valley, stands for the shared landscape that binds the two communities. The silver eagle and the motto EXCELSIOR, meaning higher, speak to aspiration and communal strength in the Valsesia valley.

Carried on a Shot Glass

A shot glass is small and held close, so the shield and banner read at close range as the glass is raised. The layered blue, red and silver sections stay distinct against the clear glass, and the lettering is legible at the glass's compact size.

Compact, heavy-based shot glasses made from clear, restaurant-grade glass. One standard size (1.5 oz / ≈44.3 ml) — sturdy, stack-friendly, and built to handle frequent service without fuss.

These shot glasses feel solid in the hand thanks to a thick, weighty base that keeps them steady on busy bar tops. The walls are even and clear, giving a nice, unobstructed view of the pour; the rim is smoothed for comfortable sipping.

They’re engineered for regular use: consistent dimensions, dependable weight, and a simple silhouette that suits both casual venues and more formal tasting counters. Designed to perform rather than show off.

  • Material: 100% clear glass for pure clarity and clean presentation.
  • Capacity: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml) — standard shot measure.
  • Base: heavy solid glass base that reduces tipping and improves balance.
  • Construction: restaurant-grade durability for frequent handling and washing.
  • Print-ready: suitable for single-sided print applications that withstand typical use.

Perfect for quick pours, samplers, and neat shots. Their compact footprint makes them easy to place on trays and tasting lines, while the heavier base keeps things steady during service.

  1. Bar service: quick, consistent pours — less wobble when carrying a tray of shots.
  2. Tastings: uniform size is handy for sampling flights or spirit tastings.
  3. Events: robust enough for pop-ups, festivals, and busy bartending shifts.

Storage tip: store upright and avoid tight stacking to protect rims and preserve clarity.

Dishwasher-safe for everyday cleaning — place on the top rack and use a normal household cycle. Repeated exposure to very high commercial temperatures can shorten glass life, so choose gentler programs where practical.

When you want to extend clarity and finish: hand-wash with warm water, a mild detergent, and a soft cloth; dry right away to avoid water spots. Handle by the body (not the rim) to reduce accidental chipping.

One size only: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml). Use the dimensions below for shelving, packaging, or tray planning.
