Alaouite dynasty Flag (Morocco) Shot Glass 1.5oz

A bold, square emblem built around a central green pentagram, the design that the Alaouite dynasty of Morocco took up in 1915.

Visual Elements & Composition

The composition is flat and graphic, with a single pentagram at its centre and smaller pentagram outlines set toward the corners. Gold and deep green carry the palette, and the star is the dominant form on the surface. Stylised script sits inside the central star. The square field keeps the emblem bold and easy to read from a distance.

Meaning & Symbolism

The dynasty flew a plain red flag from 1666, and the red field speaks to bravery, strength and the royal line of the Alaouites. The pentagram is the Seal of Solomon, and in this design it stands for the five pillars of Islam. Green, the traditional colour of Islam, carries the sense of hope and peace. The version with the green star was officially adopted on 17 November 1915, and it has endured as one of the most recognisable emblems of the Moroccan royal house.

On the Shot Glass

A shot glass is small and held close, so the central star is taken in at a glance as the glass is lifted. The gold outlines catch the light through the clear glass, and the pentagram reads as a single mark from the front. A compact glass suits an emblem that was designed to be seen at close range and remembered.

Compact, heavy-based shot glasses made from clear, restaurant-grade glass. One standard size (1.5 oz / ≈44.3 ml) — sturdy, stack-friendly, and built to handle frequent service without fuss.

These shot glasses feel solid in the hand thanks to a thick, weighty base that keeps them steady on busy bar tops. The walls are even and clear, giving a nice, unobstructed view of the pour; the rim is smoothed for comfortable sipping.

They’re engineered for regular use: consistent dimensions, dependable weight, and a simple silhouette that suits both casual venues and more formal tasting counters. Designed to perform rather than show off.

  • Material: 100% clear glass for pure clarity and clean presentation.
  • Capacity: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml) — standard shot measure.
  • Base: heavy solid glass base that reduces tipping and improves balance.
  • Construction: restaurant-grade durability for frequent handling and washing.
  • Print-ready: suitable for single-sided print applications that withstand typical use.

Perfect for quick pours, samplers, and neat shots. Their compact footprint makes them easy to place on trays and tasting lines, while the heavier base keeps things steady during service.

  1. Bar service: quick, consistent pours — less wobble when carrying a tray of shots.
  2. Tastings: uniform size is handy for sampling flights or spirit tastings.
  3. Events: robust enough for pop-ups, festivals, and busy bartending shifts.

Storage tip: store upright and avoid tight stacking to protect rims and preserve clarity.

Dishwasher-safe for everyday cleaning — place on the top rack and use a normal household cycle. Repeated exposure to very high commercial temperatures can shorten glass life, so choose gentler programs where practical.

When you want to extend clarity and finish: hand-wash with warm water, a mild detergent, and a soft cloth; dry right away to avoid water spots. Handle by the body (not the rim) to reduce accidental chipping.

One size only: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml). Use the dimensions below for shelving, packaging, or tray planning.
