Alex K Grundwald flags 1410-01 (Poland) Shot Glass 1.5oz

This design is a digital reconstruction by Alex K of a medieval military banner from the Land of Przemyśl, carried at the Battle of Grunwald in 1410.

Visual Elements & Composition

A rectangular blue banner dominates the design, with a gold crowned double-headed eagle set in its centre. Its talons and a scrollwork ornament at the base add weight to the figure, and the tapered, swallowtail-like edge at the upper right breaks the rectangle. White and gold pick out the eagle against the deep blue ground.

Meaning & Symbolism

The banner identified the contingent from Przemyśl, one of the Ruthenian lands of the Polish Crown, on the field at Grunwald on 15 July 1410. The double-headed eagle and the crown link the regional force to the wider authority of the Kingdom of Poland. The reconstruction is a tribute to medieval heraldry and to the military history of that period.

Seen Up Close

A shot glass is small and held close, so the eagle and crown are seen at near range as the glass is raised. The strong blue field makes the gold figure stand out, and the tapered edge is what the eye follows first when the glass is turned in the hand.

Compact, heavy-based shot glasses made from clear, restaurant-grade glass. One standard size (1.5 oz / ≈44.3 ml) — sturdy, stack-friendly, and built to handle frequent service without fuss.

These shot glasses feel solid in the hand thanks to a thick, weighty base that keeps them steady on busy bar tops. The walls are even and clear, giving a nice, unobstructed view of the pour; the rim is smoothed for comfortable sipping.

They’re engineered for regular use: consistent dimensions, dependable weight, and a simple silhouette that suits both casual venues and more formal tasting counters. Designed to perform rather than show off.

  • Material: 100% clear glass for pure clarity and clean presentation.
  • Capacity: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml) — standard shot measure.
  • Base: heavy solid glass base that reduces tipping and improves balance.
  • Construction: restaurant-grade durability for frequent handling and washing.
  • Print-ready: suitable for single-sided print applications that withstand typical use.

Perfect for quick pours, samplers, and neat shots. Their compact footprint makes them easy to place on trays and tasting lines, while the heavier base keeps things steady during service.

  1. Bar service: quick, consistent pours — less wobble when carrying a tray of shots.
  2. Tastings: uniform size is handy for sampling flights or spirit tastings.
  3. Events: robust enough for pop-ups, festivals, and busy bartending shifts.

Storage tip: store upright and avoid tight stacking to protect rims and preserve clarity.

Dishwasher-safe for everyday cleaning — place on the top rack and use a normal household cycle. Repeated exposure to very high commercial temperatures can shorten glass life, so choose gentler programs where practical.

When you want to extend clarity and finish: hand-wash with warm water, a mild detergent, and a soft cloth; dry right away to avoid water spots. Handle by the body (not the rim) to reduce accidental chipping.

One size only: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml). Use the dimensions below for shelving, packaging, or tray planning.
