Altai Republic flag proposal 2 (Russia) Shot Glass 1.5oz

A 1991 proposal for the Altai Republic flag, built as a vertical tricolour of blue, white and red and drawn in clean flat shapes.

Shape, Colour & Layout

Three vertical stripes fill the rectangle from edge to edge. Blue takes the largest share, about three-fifths of the field, with white and red sharing the rest in a tighter, more contrasting band. The stripes carry the whole composition, so the eye reads the colour order first and the mountain motif second. Snow-capped peaks sit within the design and give the otherwise geometric arrangement a landscape feel.

What the Colours Stand For

The colours follow the symbolism used across the group of 1991 proposals that reworked the Russian tricolour. White stands for the Altai Mountains and the nobility of the people, blue for the Turkic peoples and the open sky above them, and red for the long struggle for freedom. This design was submitted during the period when the region was the Gorno-Altai Soviet Socialist Republic. It was not adopted. The official flag was approved in 1992, and this proposal remains a clear record of the regional debate that preceded it.

Made for the Shot Glass

A shot glass is small and held close to the eye, so the vertical stripes line up with the sides of the glass as it is lifted. The blue field wraps around the curve of the glass, and the thin white and red bands catch the light as the glass moves. It is a design that rewards a close look at the rim.

Compact, heavy-based shot glasses made from clear, restaurant-grade glass. One standard size (1.5 oz / ≈44.3 ml) — sturdy, stack-friendly, and built to handle frequent service without fuss.

These shot glasses feel solid in the hand thanks to a thick, weighty base that keeps them steady on busy bar tops. The walls are even and clear, giving a nice, unobstructed view of the pour; the rim is smoothed for comfortable sipping.

They’re engineered for regular use: consistent dimensions, dependable weight, and a simple silhouette that suits both casual venues and more formal tasting counters. Designed to perform rather than show off.

  • Material: 100% clear glass for pure clarity and clean presentation.
  • Capacity: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml) — standard shot measure.
  • Base: heavy solid glass base that reduces tipping and improves balance.
  • Construction: restaurant-grade durability for frequent handling and washing.
  • Print-ready: suitable for single-sided print applications that withstand typical use.

Perfect for quick pours, samplers, and neat shots. Their compact footprint makes them easy to place on trays and tasting lines, while the heavier base keeps things steady during service.

  1. Bar service: quick, consistent pours — less wobble when carrying a tray of shots.
  2. Tastings: uniform size is handy for sampling flights or spirit tastings.
  3. Events: robust enough for pop-ups, festivals, and busy bartending shifts.

Storage tip: store upright and avoid tight stacking to protect rims and preserve clarity.

Dishwasher-safe for everyday cleaning — place on the top rack and use a normal household cycle. Repeated exposure to very high commercial temperatures can shorten glass life, so choose gentler programs where practical.

When you want to extend clarity and finish: hand-wash with warm water, a mild detergent, and a soft cloth; dry right away to avoid water spots. Handle by the body (not the rim) to reduce accidental chipping.

One size only: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml). Use the dimensions below for shelving, packaging, or tray planning.
