Altai Republic flag submission 1992 22 (Russia) Shot Glass 1.5oz

An emblem of crescent and symbols sits on a white ground crossed by blue, with green and red kept to small touches, a 1992 proposal by Gennady Kebekov.

Visual Elements & Composition

The white ground is the dominant tone, and the blue runs through it in bands that give the layout its structure. A crescent and a cluster of smaller symbols form the emblem, placed as the central point of interest. Green and red appear only as narrow accents, so the eye settles on the emblem first and then follows the blue across the field. Every shape is rendered in flat vector form with sharp edges.

Meaning & Symbolism

This entry was one of several competing submissions for the state flag of the Altai Republic, drawn up in 1992 as the region shaped its own official symbols. The crescent and emblem carry the design's identity, though the submission was not adopted. The flag the republic chose on 2 July 1992, designed by V. P. Chukuyev, took the form of four horizontal stripes in white and light blue. Kebekov's proposal is therefore best read as part of the wider debate over how the republic should be shown, and it stays on record as one of the alternatives put forward.

The Crescent in Hand

The crescent is a curved motif, and it sits naturally on the curved wall of a shot glass. As the glass is lifted, the emblem comes into view at the same level as the drinker's eye, and the blue bands then wrap around the lower body.

Compact, heavy-based shot glasses made from clear, restaurant-grade glass. One standard size (1.5 oz / ≈44.3 ml) — sturdy, stack-friendly, and built to handle frequent service without fuss.

These shot glasses feel solid in the hand thanks to a thick, weighty base that keeps them steady on busy bar tops. The walls are even and clear, giving a nice, unobstructed view of the pour; the rim is smoothed for comfortable sipping.

They’re engineered for regular use: consistent dimensions, dependable weight, and a simple silhouette that suits both casual venues and more formal tasting counters. Designed to perform rather than show off.

  • Material: 100% clear glass for pure clarity and clean presentation.
  • Capacity: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml) — standard shot measure.
  • Base: heavy solid glass base that reduces tipping and improves balance.
  • Construction: restaurant-grade durability for frequent handling and washing.
  • Print-ready: suitable for single-sided print applications that withstand typical use.

Perfect for quick pours, samplers, and neat shots. Their compact footprint makes them easy to place on trays and tasting lines, while the heavier base keeps things steady during service.

  1. Bar service: quick, consistent pours — less wobble when carrying a tray of shots.
  2. Tastings: uniform size is handy for sampling flights or spirit tastings.
  3. Events: robust enough for pop-ups, festivals, and busy bartending shifts.

Storage tip: store upright and avoid tight stacking to protect rims and preserve clarity.

Dishwasher-safe for everyday cleaning — place on the top rack and use a normal household cycle. Repeated exposure to very high commercial temperatures can shorten glass life, so choose gentler programs where practical.

When you want to extend clarity and finish: hand-wash with warm water, a mild detergent, and a soft cloth; dry right away to avoid water spots. Handle by the body (not the rim) to reduce accidental chipping.

One size only: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml). Use the dimensions below for shelving, packaging, or tray planning.
