Altai Republic flag submission 1992 27 (Russia) Shot Glass 1.5oz

A flat-vector flag dominated by a broad blue field, with green, yellow and white set in a simple geometric arrangement and a triangle as the main figure.

Visual Elements & Composition

Blue covers the great majority of the rectangle, so the design reads as an open, sky-like expanse. Green, yellow and white are kept to smaller areas and stand out against that ground. The shapes are rectangles and a triangle, with no lettering or numerals anywhere in the composition. The palette is restrained, and each colour carries a clear role within the layout rather than acting as decoration.

Meaning & Symbolism

Alexei Edokov submitted this concept in 1992 to the competition for a state flag of the Altai Republic in Russia. Each colour was given a meaning in the entry: green for the nature of Altai, yellow for the Asian continent, white for the purity of the region, and blue for the space around the planet. The design was not adopted, as the republic chose a different flag on 2 July 1992. It stands as a record of how the region's geography and natural identity were expressed during that period.

In the Hand, at Eye Level

A shot glass is small and held close, so the triangle and colour bands are taken in at a short, direct range. The blue field fills the curve of the glass and the smaller green, yellow and white areas break it up as the glass is turned. It makes a fitting piece for a home bar or a shelf of travel souvenirs, and a compact way to keep a lesser-known regional flag in view.

Compact, heavy-based shot glasses made from clear, restaurant-grade glass. One standard size (1.5 oz / ≈44.3 ml) — sturdy, stack-friendly, and built to handle frequent service without fuss.

These shot glasses feel solid in the hand thanks to a thick, weighty base that keeps them steady on busy bar tops. The walls are even and clear, giving a nice, unobstructed view of the pour; the rim is smoothed for comfortable sipping.

They’re engineered for regular use: consistent dimensions, dependable weight, and a simple silhouette that suits both casual venues and more formal tasting counters. Designed to perform rather than show off.

  • Material: 100% clear glass for pure clarity and clean presentation.
  • Capacity: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml) — standard shot measure.
  • Base: heavy solid glass base that reduces tipping and improves balance.
  • Construction: restaurant-grade durability for frequent handling and washing.
  • Print-ready: suitable for single-sided print applications that withstand typical use.

Perfect for quick pours, samplers, and neat shots. Their compact footprint makes them easy to place on trays and tasting lines, while the heavier base keeps things steady during service.

  1. Bar service: quick, consistent pours — less wobble when carrying a tray of shots.
  2. Tastings: uniform size is handy for sampling flights or spirit tastings.
  3. Events: robust enough for pop-ups, festivals, and busy bartending shifts.

Storage tip: store upright and avoid tight stacking to protect rims and preserve clarity.

Dishwasher-safe for everyday cleaning — place on the top rack and use a normal household cycle. Repeated exposure to very high commercial temperatures can shorten glass life, so choose gentler programs where practical.

When you want to extend clarity and finish: hand-wash with warm water, a mild detergent, and a soft cloth; dry right away to avoid water spots. Handle by the body (not the rim) to reduce accidental chipping.

One size only: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml). Use the dimensions below for shelving, packaging, or tray planning.
