Alternative flag of Arkhangelsk oblast (Russia) Shot Glass 1.5oz

This design reproduces the alternative flag of Arkhangelsk Oblast, a northern Russian region, as a clean white field crossed by a single azure saltire.

Visual Elements & Composition

White fills the whole field and dominates the composition. A broad blue diagonal cross, the saltire, runs corner to corner in a flat vector style. The layout is strictly geometric, with nothing to break the two-colour rhythm, so the cross reads instantly at a glance.

Meaning & Symbolism

The white field stands for the snowy landscapes of the Russian North. The azure saltire is the St Andrew's Cross, which points to the region's maritime heritage and its place as the cradle of the Russian Navy. The regional coat of arms, with Archangel Michael, the region's patron, defeating a demon, represents the victory of good over evil. The flag was adopted by regional law on 23 September 2009. It was refused entry to Russia's State Heraldic Register because it closely resembles the Russian Naval Ensign, which is why it is known as the alternative flag.

Made for the Shot Glass

A shot glass is small and held close, so the saltire is seen at arm's length as one clean diagonal. Clear glass lets the white and blue read against whatever is poured, and the cross crosses the whole vessel in a single look before the glass is raised.

Compact, heavy-based shot glasses made from clear, restaurant-grade glass. One standard size (1.5 oz / ≈44.3 ml) — sturdy, stack-friendly, and built to handle frequent service without fuss.

These shot glasses feel solid in the hand thanks to a thick, weighty base that keeps them steady on busy bar tops. The walls are even and clear, giving a nice, unobstructed view of the pour; the rim is smoothed for comfortable sipping.

They’re engineered for regular use: consistent dimensions, dependable weight, and a simple silhouette that suits both casual venues and more formal tasting counters. Designed to perform rather than show off.

  • Material: 100% clear glass for pure clarity and clean presentation.
  • Capacity: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml) — standard shot measure.
  • Base: heavy solid glass base that reduces tipping and improves balance.
  • Construction: restaurant-grade durability for frequent handling and washing.
  • Print-ready: suitable for single-sided print applications that withstand typical use.

Perfect for quick pours, samplers, and neat shots. Their compact footprint makes them easy to place on trays and tasting lines, while the heavier base keeps things steady during service.

  1. Bar service: quick, consistent pours — less wobble when carrying a tray of shots.
  2. Tastings: uniform size is handy for sampling flights or spirit tastings.
  3. Events: robust enough for pop-ups, festivals, and busy bartending shifts.

Storage tip: store upright and avoid tight stacking to protect rims and preserve clarity.

Dishwasher-safe for everyday cleaning — place on the top rack and use a normal household cycle. Repeated exposure to very high commercial temperatures can shorten glass life, so choose gentler programs where practical.

When you want to extend clarity and finish: hand-wash with warm water, a mild detergent, and a soft cloth; dry right away to avoid water spots. Handle by the body (not the rim) to reduce accidental chipping.

One size only: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml). Use the dimensions below for shelving, packaging, or tray planning.
