An Arab From Haifa proposed Palestine flag alt 10 (Palestine) Shot Glass 1.5oz

A vertical bicolour of black and dark green carrying a small white circular badge, with a red crescent and cross at its centre.

Visual Elements & Composition

Black and dark green share most of the field almost equally, split into two vertical bands. The white disc sits as a circular badge, and the red crescent and cross are set inside it, making the badge the focal point. The layout is simple and rectangular, with the dark bands framing a single, carefully placed emblem.

Meaning & Symbolism

This is one of ten flag proposals put forward in 1929 by a contributor who signed the work An Arab from Haifa. Those concepts circulated in the Palestinian press of the period, including the newspaper Filastin, at a time when the visual identity of a future national flag was being debated in public. The black, green, red and white come from the Pan-Arab palette, and the crescent and cross reflect the aim of joining Muslim and Christian communities under one symbol.

Where the Glass Meets the Flag

A 1.5oz shot glass is small and held close, so the white badge and its red emblem are the first things to catch the eye, at the level of the lips. The dark bands of the field frame the badge well against the clear glass, and the compact surface suits a design built around one clear, circular focal point.

Compact, heavy-based shot glasses made from clear, restaurant-grade glass. One standard size (1.5 oz / ≈44.3 ml) — sturdy, stack-friendly, and built to handle frequent service without fuss.

These shot glasses feel solid in the hand thanks to a thick, weighty base that keeps them steady on busy bar tops. The walls are even and clear, giving a nice, unobstructed view of the pour; the rim is smoothed for comfortable sipping.

They’re engineered for regular use: consistent dimensions, dependable weight, and a simple silhouette that suits both casual venues and more formal tasting counters. Designed to perform rather than show off.

  • Material: 100% clear glass for pure clarity and clean presentation.
  • Capacity: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml) — standard shot measure.
  • Base: heavy solid glass base that reduces tipping and improves balance.
  • Construction: restaurant-grade durability for frequent handling and washing.
  • Print-ready: suitable for single-sided print applications that withstand typical use.

Perfect for quick pours, samplers, and neat shots. Their compact footprint makes them easy to place on trays and tasting lines, while the heavier base keeps things steady during service.

  1. Bar service: quick, consistent pours — less wobble when carrying a tray of shots.
  2. Tastings: uniform size is handy for sampling flights or spirit tastings.
  3. Events: robust enough for pop-ups, festivals, and busy bartending shifts.

Storage tip: store upright and avoid tight stacking to protect rims and preserve clarity.

Dishwasher-safe for everyday cleaning — place on the top rack and use a normal household cycle. Repeated exposure to very high commercial temperatures can shorten glass life, so choose gentler programs where practical.

When you want to extend clarity and finish: hand-wash with warm water, a mild detergent, and a soft cloth; dry right away to avoid water spots. Handle by the body (not the rim) to reduce accidental chipping.

One size only: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml). Use the dimensions below for shelving, packaging, or tray planning.
