Armenian Air Force roundel (Armenia) Shot Glass 1.5oz

This design is a circular roundel, an aircraft identification mark built from the Armenian national tricolour.

Visual Elements & Composition

A round badge forms the entire image, with the national flag's three horizontal bands set inside the circle. Red, dark blue and gold each take roughly a third of the field, stacked in clean, even stripes. The disc's edge is the only outline, and nothing crosses the bands. There are no numerals or lettering, so the badge is read by its shape and colour alone.

Meaning & Symbolism

The roundel has been the national aircraft identification mark of the Armenian Air Force since 1992, marking the country's aerial forces in service. Its colours carry the traditional readings of the national flag: red for the blood shed through Armenian history, blue for the sky and the hope for peace, and gold for the fertile land. Placing the flag in a circle is a long-standing convention of aviation markings, which makes the emblem instantly recognisable as a national symbol.

Shaped for a Shot Glass

A round roundel suits a round glass, so the badge keeps its shape as the glass turns in the hand. A shot glass is small and held close, which lets the bands be taken in at a glance, almost like a coin or a medal held up to the light. The clear glass shows the colours through the wall, so the badge reads clearly at this scale.

Compact, heavy-based shot glasses made from clear, restaurant-grade glass. One standard size (1.5 oz / ≈44.3 ml) — sturdy, stack-friendly, and built to handle frequent service without fuss.

These shot glasses feel solid in the hand thanks to a thick, weighty base that keeps them steady on busy bar tops. The walls are even and clear, giving a nice, unobstructed view of the pour; the rim is smoothed for comfortable sipping.

They’re engineered for regular use: consistent dimensions, dependable weight, and a simple silhouette that suits both casual venues and more formal tasting counters. Designed to perform rather than show off.

  • Material: 100% clear glass for pure clarity and clean presentation.
  • Capacity: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml) — standard shot measure.
  • Base: heavy solid glass base that reduces tipping and improves balance.
  • Construction: restaurant-grade durability for frequent handling and washing.
  • Print-ready: suitable for single-sided print applications that withstand typical use.

Perfect for quick pours, samplers, and neat shots. Their compact footprint makes them easy to place on trays and tasting lines, while the heavier base keeps things steady during service.

  1. Bar service: quick, consistent pours — less wobble when carrying a tray of shots.
  2. Tastings: uniform size is handy for sampling flights or spirit tastings.
  3. Events: robust enough for pop-ups, festivals, and busy bartending shifts.

Storage tip: store upright and avoid tight stacking to protect rims and preserve clarity.

Dishwasher-safe for everyday cleaning — place on the top rack and use a normal household cycle. Repeated exposure to very high commercial temperatures can shorten glass life, so choose gentler programs where practical.

When you want to extend clarity and finish: hand-wash with warm water, a mild detergent, and a soft cloth; dry right away to avoid water spots. Handle by the body (not the rim) to reduce accidental chipping.

One size only: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml). Use the dimensions below for shelving, packaging, or tray planning.
