Arms of Baron Sackville Shot Glass Design

This shot glass features the distinguished coat of arms of the Baron Sackville, a testament to heraldic tradition and lineage.

The Shield

The central element of the design is the shield, quartered to represent the merging of two prominent families. The first and fourth quarters display the arms of the West family: a silver field bisected by a black "fess dancetty," a zigzag line signifying the family's heritage. The second and third quarters showcase the Sackville arms: a quarterly design of gold and red, crossed by a "bend Vair," a diagonal stripe composed of alternating blue and white bell shapes, a symbol of heraldic fur.

The Crests

Above the shield, two crests rise. The first crest presents a griffin's head in blue, with a gold beak and ears, emerging from a gold ducal coronet. The second crest features a silver star emerging from a coronet of gold fleur-de-lis.

The Supporters

Flanking the shield are two blue griffins, each with gold beaks and ears, and wearing gold ducal coronets around their necks. From each coronet hangs a small shield. The right shield bears the West arms, while the left showcases the Sackville arms.

Symbolism and Meaning

The design represents a rich tapestry of history, the arms combine the West family through the fess dancetty and the Sackville family through the quarterly gold and red design with the bend Vair.

Compact, heavy-based shot glasses made from clear, restaurant-grade glass. One standard size (1.5 oz / ≈44.3 ml) — sturdy, stack-friendly, and built to handle frequent service without fuss.

These shot glasses feel solid in the hand thanks to a thick, weighty base that keeps them steady on busy bar tops. The walls are even and clear, giving a nice, unobstructed view of the pour; the rim is smoothed for comfortable sipping.

They’re engineered for regular use: consistent dimensions, dependable weight, and a simple silhouette that suits both casual venues and more formal tasting counters. Designed to perform rather than show off.

  • Material: 100% clear glass for pure clarity and clean presentation.
  • Capacity: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml) — standard shot measure.
  • Base: heavy solid glass base that reduces tipping and improves balance.
  • Construction: restaurant-grade durability for frequent handling and washing.
  • Print-ready: suitable for single-sided print applications that withstand typical use.

Perfect for quick pours, samplers, and neat shots. Their compact footprint makes them easy to place on trays and tasting lines, while the heavier base keeps things steady during service.

  1. Bar service: quick, consistent pours — less wobble when carrying a tray of shots.
  2. Tastings: uniform size is handy for sampling flights or spirit tastings.
  3. Events: robust enough for pop-ups, festivals, and busy bartending shifts.

Storage tip: store upright and avoid tight stacking to protect rims and preserve clarity.

Dishwasher-safe for everyday cleaning — place on the top rack and use a normal household cycle. Repeated exposure to very high commercial temperatures can shorten glass life, so choose gentler programs where practical.

When you want to extend clarity and finish: hand-wash with warm water, a mild detergent, and a soft cloth; dry right away to avoid water spots. Handle by the body (not the rim) to reduce accidental chipping.

One size only: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml). Use the dimensions below for shelving, packaging, or tray planning.
