This striking accent coffee mug showcases a meticulously rendered historical design: the Arms of Canada from 1873. The artwork presents a powerful and symbolic representation of the newly formed Canadian nation, reflecting its diverse origins and aspirations.

The Shield (Escutcheon)

The centerpiece of the design is the quartered shield. Each quadrant tells a story. The upper left (Gules, three lions passant guardant Or) represents England, with its iconic golden lions. The upper right (Or, a lion rampant within a double tressure flory-counter-flory Gules) proudly displays Scotland's rampant lion. In the lower left (Azure, a harp Or stringed Argent) is Ireland's harp, and completing the quarter, the lower right (Azure, three fleurs-de-lis Or) acknowledges the historical ties to France with three gold fleur-de-lis.

In Base: A sprig of three maple leaves conjoined on one stem proper – representing Canada.

The Crest

Above the shield, the crest features a majestic lion passant guardant, rendered in gold and crowned with the Imperial Crown. This lion, holding a vibrant red maple leaf, symbolizes sovereignty and authority under the Crown.

Supporters (later additions)

The Motto
