Arms of Viscount Alanbrooke (England) Shot Glass - Design Description

This shot glass showcases the distinguished Coat of Arms of Field Marshal Alan Brooke, 1st Viscount Alanbrooke, a symbol of his military service and noble heritage.

The Shield (Arms)

The central design, the shield, is dominated by a striking cross engrailed. The cross is divided per pale (vertically) into two colors: red (Gules) and black (Sable). The engrailed edges of the cross, with their inward-pointing curves, add a visual distinction and symbolize a union of families or entities. The first quarter of the shield features a red crescent (Gules), a mark of cadency denoting the second son in the family lineage.

The background, or field, of the shield is gold (Or), representing generosity and a noble spirit.

The Crest

Above the shield, the crest presents a badger (Brock) standing on all fours, depicted in its natural colors. The badger symbolizes strength and courage.

The Supporters

On either side of the shield stand officers of the Royal Horse Guards in full dress uniform. They are holding escutcheons (small shields) in their outer hands. Each escutcheon is azure (blue) and is charged with seven wavy silver barrulets, with a red salmon rising from above.

The Motto

The motto, "Gloria finis," meaning "Glory to the end," is displayed, representing the Viscount's commitment and achievements.

Compact, heavy-based shot glasses made from clear, restaurant-grade glass. One standard size (1.5 oz / ≈44.3 ml) — sturdy, stack-friendly, and built to handle frequent service without fuss.

These shot glasses feel solid in the hand thanks to a thick, weighty base that keeps them steady on busy bar tops. The walls are even and clear, giving a nice, unobstructed view of the pour; the rim is smoothed for comfortable sipping.

They’re engineered for regular use: consistent dimensions, dependable weight, and a simple silhouette that suits both casual venues and more formal tasting counters. Designed to perform rather than show off.

  • Material: 100% clear glass for pure clarity and clean presentation.
  • Capacity: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml) — standard shot measure.
  • Base: heavy solid glass base that reduces tipping and improves balance.
  • Construction: restaurant-grade durability for frequent handling and washing.
  • Print-ready: suitable for single-sided print applications that withstand typical use.

Perfect for quick pours, samplers, and neat shots. Their compact footprint makes them easy to place on trays and tasting lines, while the heavier base keeps things steady during service.

  1. Bar service: quick, consistent pours — less wobble when carrying a tray of shots.
  2. Tastings: uniform size is handy for sampling flights or spirit tastings.
  3. Events: robust enough for pop-ups, festivals, and busy bartending shifts.

Storage tip: store upright and avoid tight stacking to protect rims and preserve clarity.

Dishwasher-safe for everyday cleaning — place on the top rack and use a normal household cycle. Repeated exposure to very high commercial temperatures can shorten glass life, so choose gentler programs where practical.

When you want to extend clarity and finish: hand-wash with warm water, a mild detergent, and a soft cloth; dry right away to avoid water spots. Handle by the body (not the rim) to reduce accidental chipping.

One size only: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml). Use the dimensions below for shelving, packaging, or tray planning.
