ArmsLierZE (Netherlands) Coat of Arms Shot Glass Design

This shot glass features a design derived from the Coat of Arms of the Netherlands, a powerful symbol of Dutch national identity and heritage.

The Shield

The central element is the shield, rendered in a striking azure (blue) color. It's adorned with a multitude of small, gold vertical rectangles, known as "billets." These billets are a direct inheritance from the arms of the House of Nassau.

The Lion Rampant

Dominating the shield is a majestic golden lion, crowned and depicted in a rampant pose. The lion, with its red tongue and claws, is a key element, representing the historical connection to the House of Nassau. In its right paw, the lion clutches a silver sword with a gold hilt, symbolizing the nation's resolve to defend its freedom and sovereignty. In its left paw, the lion holds a bundle of seven silver arrows, signifying the unity of the seven provinces of the old Dutch Republic; this represents the strength in unity.

Royal Elements and Motto

Above the shield rests the royal crown of the Netherlands, underscoring the nation's royal status. Supporting the shield on either side are two additional golden lions, also symbolizing royalty. Below the shield, a blue ribbon bears the motto "Je Maintiendrai" ("I will maintain"), a powerful statement of commitment to uphold virtue, honor, faith, and law.

Compact, heavy-based shot glasses made from clear, restaurant-grade glass. One standard size (1.5 oz / ≈44.3 ml) — sturdy, stack-friendly, and built to handle frequent service without fuss.

These shot glasses feel solid in the hand thanks to a thick, weighty base that keeps them steady on busy bar tops. The walls are even and clear, giving a nice, unobstructed view of the pour; the rim is smoothed for comfortable sipping.

They’re engineered for regular use: consistent dimensions, dependable weight, and a simple silhouette that suits both casual venues and more formal tasting counters. Designed to perform rather than show off.

  • Material: 100% clear glass for pure clarity and clean presentation.
  • Capacity: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml) — standard shot measure.
  • Base: heavy solid glass base that reduces tipping and improves balance.
  • Construction: restaurant-grade durability for frequent handling and washing.
  • Print-ready: suitable for single-sided print applications that withstand typical use.

Perfect for quick pours, samplers, and neat shots. Their compact footprint makes them easy to place on trays and tasting lines, while the heavier base keeps things steady during service.

  1. Bar service: quick, consistent pours — less wobble when carrying a tray of shots.
  2. Tastings: uniform size is handy for sampling flights or spirit tastings.
  3. Events: robust enough for pop-ups, festivals, and busy bartending shifts.

Storage tip: store upright and avoid tight stacking to protect rims and preserve clarity.

Dishwasher-safe for everyday cleaning — place on the top rack and use a normal household cycle. Repeated exposure to very high commercial temperatures can shorten glass life, so choose gentler programs where practical.

When you want to extend clarity and finish: hand-wash with warm water, a mild detergent, and a soft cloth; dry right away to avoid water spots. Handle by the body (not the rim) to reduce accidental chipping.

One size only: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml). Use the dimensions below for shelving, packaging, or tray planning.
