Aubange Wapem Shot Glass - Design

This shot glass showcases the heraldic magnificence of the Aubange wapen (Coat of Arms), a symbol steeped in history and pride. The design, officially granted in 1980, is a striking representation of the town’s heritage, originating from the lords of Aix-sur-Cloie.

The Shield

The centerpiece is the shield, its argent (silver/white) field providing a clean backdrop for the bold design. Three diagonal, descending stripes of gueules (red) boldly traverse the shield, creating a dynamic and instantly recognizable pattern. The diagonal placement adds a sense of motion and visual interest.

Helmet and Crest

Above the shield, the design incorporates a silver helmet, embellished with a golden collar, adding a touch of nobility and distinction. Flowing from the helmet is the mantling, drapery in silver and black, adding to the regal appearance.

Atop the helmet sits the crest: "a vol à l’antique,” an antique-style pair of wings. These wings echo the design of the shield, bearing the same three diagonal red stripes on a silver background, uniting the components into a cohesive visual statement.

Supporters

The shield is proudly supported by two golden (or) lions. Each lion holds a banner that faithfully replicates the shield's pattern, reinforcing the connection to the town's identity. The lions stand as symbols of strength and guardianship, further enhancing the coat of arms' impact.

Compact, heavy-based shot glasses made from clear, restaurant-grade glass. One standard size (1.5 oz / ≈44.3 ml) — sturdy, stack-friendly, and built to handle frequent service without fuss.

These shot glasses feel solid in the hand thanks to a thick, weighty base that keeps them steady on busy bar tops. The walls are even and clear, giving a nice, unobstructed view of the pour; the rim is smoothed for comfortable sipping.

They’re engineered for regular use: consistent dimensions, dependable weight, and a simple silhouette that suits both casual venues and more formal tasting counters. Designed to perform rather than show off.

  • Material: 100% clear glass for pure clarity and clean presentation.
  • Capacity: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml) — standard shot measure.
  • Base: heavy solid glass base that reduces tipping and improves balance.
  • Construction: restaurant-grade durability for frequent handling and washing.
  • Print-ready: suitable for single-sided print applications that withstand typical use.

Perfect for quick pours, samplers, and neat shots. Their compact footprint makes them easy to place on trays and tasting lines, while the heavier base keeps things steady during service.

  1. Bar service: quick, consistent pours — less wobble when carrying a tray of shots.
  2. Tastings: uniform size is handy for sampling flights or spirit tastings.
  3. Events: robust enough for pop-ups, festivals, and busy bartending shifts.

Storage tip: store upright and avoid tight stacking to protect rims and preserve clarity.

Dishwasher-safe for everyday cleaning — place on the top rack and use a normal household cycle. Repeated exposure to very high commercial temperatures can shorten glass life, so choose gentler programs where practical.

When you want to extend clarity and finish: hand-wash with warm water, a mild detergent, and a soft cloth; dry right away to avoid water spots. Handle by the body (not the rim) to reduce accidental chipping.

One size only: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml). Use the dimensions below for shelving, packaging, or tray planning.
