Bandeira de Sergipe 1951 (Brazil) Shot Glass 1.5oz

This design shows the 1951 flag of Sergipe, a Brazilian state, with its green and yellow stripes and a dark blue canton filled with 42 white stars.

Visual Elements & Composition

Four horizontal stripes alternate between green and yellow, the same colours as the Brazilian national flag. In the upper hoist corner sits a dark blue canton, and across it runs a grid of white five-pointed stars, arranged in five rows of seven. Green and yellow share most of the field, while the blue canton and its stars form a compact point of contrast. The flat vector shapes are crisp and regular.

Meaning & Symbolism

The 42 stars stand for the state's municipalities as they were in 1951. That year the state symbols were reinstated after the ban imposed during the Getúlio Vargas regime, from 1937 to 1945. This version was short-lived: on 3 December 1952 it was replaced by the original 1920 design, which carries five stars for the state's estuaries, so this flag marks a brief and distinct moment in Sergipe's history.

Held Close at the Bar

A shot glass is small and lifted close, so the grid of 42 stars is seen at arm's length, where the individual stars can still be picked out. The stripes carry their colour clearly at that size, and each glass holds a short but distinct chapter of the state's flag history.

Compact, heavy-based shot glasses made from clear, restaurant-grade glass. One standard size (1.5 oz / ≈44.3 ml) — sturdy, stack-friendly, and built to handle frequent service without fuss.

These shot glasses feel solid in the hand thanks to a thick, weighty base that keeps them steady on busy bar tops. The walls are even and clear, giving a nice, unobstructed view of the pour; the rim is smoothed for comfortable sipping.

They’re engineered for regular use: consistent dimensions, dependable weight, and a simple silhouette that suits both casual venues and more formal tasting counters. Designed to perform rather than show off.

  • Material: 100% clear glass for pure clarity and clean presentation.
  • Capacity: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml) — standard shot measure.
  • Base: heavy solid glass base that reduces tipping and improves balance.
  • Construction: restaurant-grade durability for frequent handling and washing.
  • Print-ready: suitable for single-sided print applications that withstand typical use.

Perfect for quick pours, samplers, and neat shots. Their compact footprint makes them easy to place on trays and tasting lines, while the heavier base keeps things steady during service.

  1. Bar service: quick, consistent pours — less wobble when carrying a tray of shots.
  2. Tastings: uniform size is handy for sampling flights or spirit tastings.
  3. Events: robust enough for pop-ups, festivals, and busy bartending shifts.

Storage tip: store upright and avoid tight stacking to protect rims and preserve clarity.

Dishwasher-safe for everyday cleaning — place on the top rack and use a normal household cycle. Repeated exposure to very high commercial temperatures can shorten glass life, so choose gentler programs where practical.

When you want to extend clarity and finish: hand-wash with warm water, a mild detergent, and a soft cloth; dry right away to avoid water spots. Handle by the body (not the rim) to reduce accidental chipping.

One size only: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml). Use the dimensions below for shelving, packaging, or tray planning.
