Bandeira do Leal Senado alternate version (Portugal) Shot Glass 1.5oz

This sky-blue variant places a crowned municipal coat of arms in the centre, with a gold crown and an Order of Christ cross above a cream scroll.

Visual Elements & Composition

Sky blue fills most of the field, and the crimson, cream and gold of the arms give the design its warmth against it. The coat of arms carries a Portuguese royal shield of castles and blue escutcheons, supported by two angels, a golden crown on top and an Order of Christ cross beside it. An armillary sphere is part of the emblem, and a cream scroll banner bears the inscription CIDADE DO NOME DE DEUS DE MACAU and NÃO HÁ OUTRA.

Heritage Behind the Arms

The Leal Senado, the Loyal Senate of Macau, was founded in 1583 and governed the city under Portuguese administration. Macau was the only Portuguese territory to keep flying the Portuguese flag during the Iberian Union of 1580 to 1640, and in 1654 the city was granted its title, Cidade do Santo Nome de Deus de Macau, Não Há Outra Mais Leal. The emblem kept its place as the municipal flag until the handover to China in 1999.

Where It Sits on the Glass

A shot glass is small and held close, so the crown and cross are read as the glass is turned at the bar. The sky-blue field frames the arms on the front, and the cream scroll reads at the rim where the glass meets the lips.

Compact, heavy-based shot glasses made from clear, restaurant-grade glass. One standard size (1.5 oz / ≈44.3 ml) — sturdy, stack-friendly, and built to handle frequent service without fuss.

These shot glasses feel solid in the hand thanks to a thick, weighty base that keeps them steady on busy bar tops. The walls are even and clear, giving a nice, unobstructed view of the pour; the rim is smoothed for comfortable sipping.

They’re engineered for regular use: consistent dimensions, dependable weight, and a simple silhouette that suits both casual venues and more formal tasting counters. Designed to perform rather than show off.

  • Material: 100% clear glass for pure clarity and clean presentation.
  • Capacity: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml) — standard shot measure.
  • Base: heavy solid glass base that reduces tipping and improves balance.
  • Construction: restaurant-grade durability for frequent handling and washing.
  • Print-ready: suitable for single-sided print applications that withstand typical use.

Perfect for quick pours, samplers, and neat shots. Their compact footprint makes them easy to place on trays and tasting lines, while the heavier base keeps things steady during service.

  1. Bar service: quick, consistent pours — less wobble when carrying a tray of shots.
  2. Tastings: uniform size is handy for sampling flights or spirit tastings.
  3. Events: robust enough for pop-ups, festivals, and busy bartending shifts.

Storage tip: store upright and avoid tight stacking to protect rims and preserve clarity.

Dishwasher-safe for everyday cleaning — place on the top rack and use a normal household cycle. Repeated exposure to very high commercial temperatures can shorten glass life, so choose gentler programs where practical.

When you want to extend clarity and finish: hand-wash with warm water, a mild detergent, and a soft cloth; dry right away to avoid water spots. Handle by the body (not the rim) to reduce accidental chipping.

One size only: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml). Use the dimensions below for shelving, packaging, or tray planning.
