Bandeira-proposta-do-tocantins (Brazil) Shot Glass 1.5oz

A flat vector reproduction of a historical proposal for the flag of Tocantins, a Brazilian state, built around an orange sunburst with green and red accents.

Visual Elements & Composition

Orange takes the largest share of the design, radiating from a sunburst of rays that gives the composition its movement. Green and red provide the secondary colours, and a circle and a triangle sit among the rays as the abstract symbols of the design. The layout is graphic and uncluttered, with no lettering to compete with the shapes.

Meaning & Symbolism

This is a proposal rather than an adopted flag. Designs of this kind were put forward during the formation of the state, and the sunburst reads as a symbol of new beginnings and of the region's emerging identity. Proposals of the period drew on green, white and red as the traditional palette of vexillology, and the sunburst here stands for the energy of a state taking shape. The design was superseded by the flag adopted on 17 November 1989, which is the one that represents Tocantins today.

On the Shot Glass

A shot glass is small and held close, so the sunburst is seen at arm's length, turned in the hand rather than read from across a room. The orange rays draw the eye toward the centre of the glass, and the circle and triangle hold their place at that scale. It is a fitting piece for anyone curious about the history of Tocantins, or for a collector of unadopted regional flags, and a conversation starter on the bar or the shelf.

Compact, heavy-based shot glasses made from clear, restaurant-grade glass. One standard size (1.5 oz / ≈44.3 ml) — sturdy, stack-friendly, and built to handle frequent service without fuss.

These shot glasses feel solid in the hand thanks to a thick, weighty base that keeps them steady on busy bar tops. The walls are even and clear, giving a nice, unobstructed view of the pour; the rim is smoothed for comfortable sipping.

They’re engineered for regular use: consistent dimensions, dependable weight, and a simple silhouette that suits both casual venues and more formal tasting counters. Designed to perform rather than show off.

  • Material: 100% clear glass for pure clarity and clean presentation.
  • Capacity: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml) — standard shot measure.
  • Base: heavy solid glass base that reduces tipping and improves balance.
  • Construction: restaurant-grade durability for frequent handling and washing.
  • Print-ready: suitable for single-sided print applications that withstand typical use.

Perfect for quick pours, samplers, and neat shots. Their compact footprint makes them easy to place on trays and tasting lines, while the heavier base keeps things steady during service.

  1. Bar service: quick, consistent pours — less wobble when carrying a tray of shots.
  2. Tastings: uniform size is handy for sampling flights or spirit tastings.
  3. Events: robust enough for pop-ups, festivals, and busy bartending shifts.

Storage tip: store upright and avoid tight stacking to protect rims and preserve clarity.

Dishwasher-safe for everyday cleaning — place on the top rack and use a normal household cycle. Repeated exposure to very high commercial temperatures can shorten glass life, so choose gentler programs where practical.

When you want to extend clarity and finish: hand-wash with warm water, a mild detergent, and a soft cloth; dry right away to avoid water spots. Handle by the body (not the rim) to reduce accidental chipping.

One size only: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml). Use the dimensions below for shelving, packaging, or tray planning.
