Bandeira Recife (Brazil) Shot Glass 1.5oz

This design renders the flag of Recife, the Brazilian city on the country's northeast coast, as a clean, flat vector emblem built from a single bold idea: three vertical bands.

Visual Elements & Composition

Two broad blue columns frame a central white column, and the blue dominates the field, taking up more than half of the design. A small amount of yellow and red sits within the central emblem, enough to draw the eye without crowding the layout. The lettering runs across the white column in capitals, reading VIRTUS, ET and FIDES on separate lines, so the motto becomes part of the geometry rather than an afterthought.

Meaning & Symbolism

The blue columns echo the Brazilian sky and the colours of the state of Pernambuco, of which Recife is the capital. The white centre stands for peace. The Latin motto, "Virtus et Fides," translates as strength and faith, the two qualities the city chose to name in its emblem. The flag was formally adopted on 15 December 1973 under Law 11.210, which gives the design its place in the civic record of the region.

Reading the Design Up Close

A shot glass is small and held close, so the flag's clean edges and tight central lettering read at a glance, with the blue and white holding their contrast across the curve of the glass. Each pour lands the design right under the eye, which suits a flag made to be seen quickly and remembered.

Compact, heavy-based shot glasses made from clear, restaurant-grade glass. One standard size (1.5 oz / ≈44.3 ml) — sturdy, stack-friendly, and built to handle frequent service without fuss.

These shot glasses feel solid in the hand thanks to a thick, weighty base that keeps them steady on busy bar tops. The walls are even and clear, giving a nice, unobstructed view of the pour; the rim is smoothed for comfortable sipping.

They’re engineered for regular use: consistent dimensions, dependable weight, and a simple silhouette that suits both casual venues and more formal tasting counters. Designed to perform rather than show off.

  • Material: 100% clear glass for pure clarity and clean presentation.
  • Capacity: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml) — standard shot measure.
  • Base: heavy solid glass base that reduces tipping and improves balance.
  • Construction: restaurant-grade durability for frequent handling and washing.
  • Print-ready: suitable for single-sided print applications that withstand typical use.

Perfect for quick pours, samplers, and neat shots. Their compact footprint makes them easy to place on trays and tasting lines, while the heavier base keeps things steady during service.

  1. Bar service: quick, consistent pours — less wobble when carrying a tray of shots.
  2. Tastings: uniform size is handy for sampling flights or spirit tastings.
  3. Events: robust enough for pop-ups, festivals, and busy bartending shifts.

Storage tip: store upright and avoid tight stacking to protect rims and preserve clarity.

Dishwasher-safe for everyday cleaning — place on the top rack and use a normal household cycle. Repeated exposure to very high commercial temperatures can shorten glass life, so choose gentler programs where practical.

When you want to extend clarity and finish: hand-wash with warm water, a mild detergent, and a soft cloth; dry right away to avoid water spots. Handle by the body (not the rim) to reduce accidental chipping.

One size only: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml). Use the dimensions below for shelving, packaging, or tray planning.
