BandeiraCasinhasPE (Brazil) Shot Glass 1.5oz

This shot glass reproduces the official banner of Casinhas, a municipality in Pernambuco, Brazil, with a white field, red and blue bands, and a rising sun above a mountain line.

Visual Elements & Composition

White covers the largest share of the design, with red and blue sharing the rest in a vertical tricolour. Small areas of green and yellow appear in the emblem. A circle holds the sun rising behind mountains, with a Christian cross and a simple house silhouette beside it. The flat vector style keeps each element sharp and easy to read.

Meaning & Symbolism

The house silhouette is the key to the banner, because the town's name comes from a local tradition from the late nineteenth century. A casinha, a small straw house, offered shelter to travellers passing through, and the emblem keeps that hospitality in view. The rising sun and the cross speak to the region's faith and its daylight start, and the banner is the formal symbol of the municipal government and of the community's identity. The municipality was created on 12 July 1995 and formally installed on 1 January 1997.

In the Hand, Up Close

A shot glass is small and held close, so the house and the sun are seen first, just as the traveller once saw the shelter. The vertical bands follow the curve of the glass, and the emblem stays at eye level when the glass is raised.

Compact, heavy-based shot glasses made from clear, restaurant-grade glass. One standard size (1.5 oz / ≈44.3 ml) — sturdy, stack-friendly, and built to handle frequent service without fuss.

These shot glasses feel solid in the hand thanks to a thick, weighty base that keeps them steady on busy bar tops. The walls are even and clear, giving a nice, unobstructed view of the pour; the rim is smoothed for comfortable sipping.

They’re engineered for regular use: consistent dimensions, dependable weight, and a simple silhouette that suits both casual venues and more formal tasting counters. Designed to perform rather than show off.

  • Material: 100% clear glass for pure clarity and clean presentation.
  • Capacity: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml) — standard shot measure.
  • Base: heavy solid glass base that reduces tipping and improves balance.
  • Construction: restaurant-grade durability for frequent handling and washing.
  • Print-ready: suitable for single-sided print applications that withstand typical use.

Perfect for quick pours, samplers, and neat shots. Their compact footprint makes them easy to place on trays and tasting lines, while the heavier base keeps things steady during service.

  1. Bar service: quick, consistent pours — less wobble when carrying a tray of shots.
  2. Tastings: uniform size is handy for sampling flights or spirit tastings.
  3. Events: robust enough for pop-ups, festivals, and busy bartending shifts.

Storage tip: store upright and avoid tight stacking to protect rims and preserve clarity.

Dishwasher-safe for everyday cleaning — place on the top rack and use a normal household cycle. Repeated exposure to very high commercial temperatures can shorten glass life, so choose gentler programs where practical.

When you want to extend clarity and finish: hand-wash with warm water, a mild detergent, and a soft cloth; dry right away to avoid water spots. Handle by the body (not the rim) to reduce accidental chipping.

One size only: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml). Use the dimensions below for shelving, packaging, or tray planning.
