BandeiraGaranhuns (Brazil) Shot Glass 1.5oz

A red and white field carries three black birds rising upward alongside a stack of blue and white spheres, forming the flag of Garanhuns in Pernambuco, Brazil.

Visual Elements & Composition

Red dominates the flag, with white filling much of the remaining field. Three black birds are shown in flight, climbing toward the top of the design. Below them, blue and white circles sit in a wavy arrangement that reads as water. The forms are flat and simple, with clean edges and no shading, so the silhouettes of the birds and spheres stand out clearly against the red.

Meaning & Symbolism

White stands for peace, and red for the authenticity and strength of the local people. The three birds flying upward express the town's pursuit of elevated ideas. The blue and white spheres recall the mineral water springs of Vila Maria, Pau Amarelo and Serra Branca. The emblem was idealised by the Benedictine monk Dom Paulo, known as Brother Paulo Ernst Lachenmayer, and was made official on 5 March 1958 under Law 457/58.

Held Close in the Hand

A shot glass is small and held close, so the three birds sit near eye level as the glass is lifted. Their upward flight draws the eye toward the rim, where the red field frames the design. The bold silhouettes read clearly through clear glass, making the emblem's simple lines feel crisp at this scale.

Compact, heavy-based shot glasses made from clear, restaurant-grade glass. One standard size (1.5 oz / ≈44.3 ml) — sturdy, stack-friendly, and built to handle frequent service without fuss.

These shot glasses feel solid in the hand thanks to a thick, weighty base that keeps them steady on busy bar tops. The walls are even and clear, giving a nice, unobstructed view of the pour; the rim is smoothed for comfortable sipping.

They’re engineered for regular use: consistent dimensions, dependable weight, and a simple silhouette that suits both casual venues and more formal tasting counters. Designed to perform rather than show off.

  • Material: 100% clear glass for pure clarity and clean presentation.
  • Capacity: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml) — standard shot measure.
  • Base: heavy solid glass base that reduces tipping and improves balance.
  • Construction: restaurant-grade durability for frequent handling and washing.
  • Print-ready: suitable for single-sided print applications that withstand typical use.

Perfect for quick pours, samplers, and neat shots. Their compact footprint makes them easy to place on trays and tasting lines, while the heavier base keeps things steady during service.

  1. Bar service: quick, consistent pours — less wobble when carrying a tray of shots.
  2. Tastings: uniform size is handy for sampling flights or spirit tastings.
  3. Events: robust enough for pop-ups, festivals, and busy bartending shifts.

Storage tip: store upright and avoid tight stacking to protect rims and preserve clarity.

Dishwasher-safe for everyday cleaning — place on the top rack and use a normal household cycle. Repeated exposure to very high commercial temperatures can shorten glass life, so choose gentler programs where practical.

When you want to extend clarity and finish: hand-wash with warm water, a mild detergent, and a soft cloth; dry right away to avoid water spots. Handle by the body (not the rim) to reduce accidental chipping.

One size only: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml). Use the dimensions below for shelving, packaging, or tray planning.
