Bandera de Angostura (Venezuela) Shot Glass 1.5oz

A horizontal tricolour of yellow, blue and red, with a row of eight stars set on the band that catches the eye first.

Visual Elements & Composition

Three equal horizontal bands of yellow, blue and red stack from top to bottom, and each takes about a third of the rectangle. The stars are the single detail that breaks the stripes, a row of five-pointed stars set across the yellow band. Their number is what gives the flag its character, since the eight-star arrangement is what distinguishes this banner from the plain national tricolour. The artwork is flat vector with sharp edges and a bold, even palette.

Meaning & Symbolism

The flag was decreed in Angostura, now Ciudad Bolívar, on 20 November 1817 by Simón Bolívar during the Venezuelan independence struggle. Its eighth star stands for the newly liberated province of Guayana, and the tricolour places the flag firmly in the revolutionary era of early nineteenth-century South America. It is a solemn piece of national history, and each star carries a province into the story of independence.

On the Shot Glass

A shot glass is small and held close, so the row of stars sits at eye level as the glass is raised. The bands wrap the rounded wall, and the stars move across the curve as the glass turns in the hand. It is a compact souvenir of a founding moment in Venezuelan history for a home bar or a collector's shelf.

Compact, heavy-based shot glasses made from clear, restaurant-grade glass. One standard size (1.5 oz / ≈44.3 ml) — sturdy, stack-friendly, and built to handle frequent service without fuss.

These shot glasses feel solid in the hand thanks to a thick, weighty base that keeps them steady on busy bar tops. The walls are even and clear, giving a nice, unobstructed view of the pour; the rim is smoothed for comfortable sipping.

They’re engineered for regular use: consistent dimensions, dependable weight, and a simple silhouette that suits both casual venues and more formal tasting counters. Designed to perform rather than show off.

  • Material: 100% clear glass for pure clarity and clean presentation.
  • Capacity: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml) — standard shot measure.
  • Base: heavy solid glass base that reduces tipping and improves balance.
  • Construction: restaurant-grade durability for frequent handling and washing.
  • Print-ready: suitable for single-sided print applications that withstand typical use.

Perfect for quick pours, samplers, and neat shots. Their compact footprint makes them easy to place on trays and tasting lines, while the heavier base keeps things steady during service.

  1. Bar service: quick, consistent pours — less wobble when carrying a tray of shots.
  2. Tastings: uniform size is handy for sampling flights or spirit tastings.
  3. Events: robust enough for pop-ups, festivals, and busy bartending shifts.

Storage tip: store upright and avoid tight stacking to protect rims and preserve clarity.

Dishwasher-safe for everyday cleaning — place on the top rack and use a normal household cycle. Repeated exposure to very high commercial temperatures can shorten glass life, so choose gentler programs where practical.

When you want to extend clarity and finish: hand-wash with warm water, a mild detergent, and a soft cloth; dry right away to avoid water spots. Handle by the body (not the rim) to reduce accidental chipping.

One size only: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml). Use the dimensions below for shelving, packaging, or tray planning.
