Bandera de Chimbote (Peru) Shot Glass 1.5oz

This design reproduces the official flag of Chimbote, a port city in the Ancash Region of Peru, as a bold, flat emblem built around the city's coat of arms.

Visual Elements & Composition

A solid golden yellow field fills the whole design and dominates the palette. Centred on it sits a brown equilateral triangle holding three vertical wavy stripes, one large blue stripe flanked by two green ones, with a small black crescent pointing upward above them. Two stylised golden yellow fish rise on either side of the emblem as supporters. The word CHIMBOTE runs across the bottom in golden yellow capitals. Maroon, black, blue and green appear only in the emblem, so the eye lands on the crest first.

Meaning & Symbolism

The wavy stripes and the fish speak to Chimbote's maritime heritage, tying the city to the Pacific coast and the fishing that shaped its growth. The upward crescent and the triangle give the crest its heraldic structure, while the golden field stands for the warmth and prominence of the region. The flag has been in use since 1981 and still marks the civic identity of the city.

On the Shot Glass

A 1.5oz shot glass is small and held close, so the emblem reads at arm's length, almost like a seal pressed into the glass. The flag's fish and waves sit well on a vessel meant for a short, deliberate pour, and the golden field catches the light as the glass is turned in the hand.

Compact, heavy-based shot glasses made from clear, restaurant-grade glass. One standard size (1.5 oz / ≈44.3 ml) — sturdy, stack-friendly, and built to handle frequent service without fuss.

These shot glasses feel solid in the hand thanks to a thick, weighty base that keeps them steady on busy bar tops. The walls are even and clear, giving a nice, unobstructed view of the pour; the rim is smoothed for comfortable sipping.

They’re engineered for regular use: consistent dimensions, dependable weight, and a simple silhouette that suits both casual venues and more formal tasting counters. Designed to perform rather than show off.

  • Material: 100% clear glass for pure clarity and clean presentation.
  • Capacity: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml) — standard shot measure.
  • Base: heavy solid glass base that reduces tipping and improves balance.
  • Construction: restaurant-grade durability for frequent handling and washing.
  • Print-ready: suitable for single-sided print applications that withstand typical use.

Perfect for quick pours, samplers, and neat shots. Their compact footprint makes them easy to place on trays and tasting lines, while the heavier base keeps things steady during service.

  1. Bar service: quick, consistent pours — less wobble when carrying a tray of shots.
  2. Tastings: uniform size is handy for sampling flights or spirit tastings.
  3. Events: robust enough for pop-ups, festivals, and busy bartending shifts.

Storage tip: store upright and avoid tight stacking to protect rims and preserve clarity.

Dishwasher-safe for everyday cleaning — place on the top rack and use a normal household cycle. Repeated exposure to very high commercial temperatures can shorten glass life, so choose gentler programs where practical.

When you want to extend clarity and finish: hand-wash with warm water, a mild detergent, and a soft cloth; dry right away to avoid water spots. Handle by the body (not the rim) to reduce accidental chipping.

One size only: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml). Use the dimensions below for shelving, packaging, or tray planning.
