Bandera de Espana 1808-1813 (Spain) Shot Glass 1.5oz

This design renders the Spanish flag as it appeared between 1808 and 1813, built from heraldry rather than a simple striped field.

Visual Elements & Composition

Crimson and gold dominate, with white ground and smaller accents of royal blue and maroon. The layout centres on a quartered heraldic shield topped by a royal crown with pearls and a red velvet cap. Around it sit the separate emblems of the realms: a castle tower, a rampant lion, Aragonese stripes, a chained cross, and a pomegranate. A golden eagle on a blue oval escutcheon anchors the centre. Flat vector shapes keep every element crisp and readable at small size.

Meaning & Symbolism

Each quarter stands for a kingdom bound into the Spanish crown. The castle and lion recall Castile and León, the stripes Aragon, the chains Navarre, and the pomegranate Granada. The twin pillars with their banner and sphere echo the Plus Ultra motif, a symbol of Spanish reach across the Atlantic. The Maltese cross pendant and the insignia of the Order of Charles III tie the flag to the court ceremony of its era, when heraldry carried the authority of the state.

Holding History in a Glass

A shot glass is small and held close, so this flag is seen at arm's length, one motif at a time, much as it would be read on a royal document. Its clear base lets the crimson and gold show through the glass, and the design reads best when it is set on a bar or shelf and admired between pours.

Compact, heavy-based shot glasses made from clear, restaurant-grade glass. One standard size (1.5 oz / ≈44.3 ml) — sturdy, stack-friendly, and built to handle frequent service without fuss.

These shot glasses feel solid in the hand thanks to a thick, weighty base that keeps them steady on busy bar tops. The walls are even and clear, giving a nice, unobstructed view of the pour; the rim is smoothed for comfortable sipping.

They’re engineered for regular use: consistent dimensions, dependable weight, and a simple silhouette that suits both casual venues and more formal tasting counters. Designed to perform rather than show off.

  • Material: 100% clear glass for pure clarity and clean presentation.
  • Capacity: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml) — standard shot measure.
  • Base: heavy solid glass base that reduces tipping and improves balance.
  • Construction: restaurant-grade durability for frequent handling and washing.
  • Print-ready: suitable for single-sided print applications that withstand typical use.

Perfect for quick pours, samplers, and neat shots. Their compact footprint makes them easy to place on trays and tasting lines, while the heavier base keeps things steady during service.

  1. Bar service: quick, consistent pours — less wobble when carrying a tray of shots.
  2. Tastings: uniform size is handy for sampling flights or spirit tastings.
  3. Events: robust enough for pop-ups, festivals, and busy bartending shifts.

Storage tip: store upright and avoid tight stacking to protect rims and preserve clarity.

Dishwasher-safe for everyday cleaning — place on the top rack and use a normal household cycle. Repeated exposure to very high commercial temperatures can shorten glass life, so choose gentler programs where practical.

When you want to extend clarity and finish: hand-wash with warm water, a mild detergent, and a soft cloth; dry right away to avoid water spots. Handle by the body (not the rim) to reduce accidental chipping.

One size only: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml). Use the dimensions below for shelving, packaging, or tray planning.
