Bandera de La Plata (Argentina) Shot Glass 1.5oz

A four-panel diamond emblem in azure blue and green, centred on a white square, is the flag of La Plata in Buenos Aires Province.

Visual Elements & Composition

Azure blue fills most of the field, with white and green sharing the rest. The emblem is a diamond divided into four panes, with green quadrants bordered by a white outline. Diagonal bands and a rectangular field frame the diamond, giving the flat vector layout a clear geometric order. The white square at the heart of the design is the element the eye settles on, and it is set apart from the surrounding colour by its clean edges.

Meaning & Symbolism

The white square stands for the downtown centre of La Plata, specifically Plaza Moreno, and marks the location of the city's foundational cornerstone. The emblem therefore keeps the city's founding history and its central urban layout at the core of its identity. The flag was selected in 2010 as the winner of the municipal contest "Una bandera para mi Ciudad", and it was designed by Nahuel Alejandro Álvarez with help from teachers at Escuela Media Nº 34.

Held in the Hand

A shot glass is small and held close, so the diamond is read in a single glance before the glass is raised. The blue field fills the glass wall, and the white square catches the light as the glass is turned. It makes a fitting memento of the city and its planned centre, kept on a shelf or carried on a trip through Argentina.

Compact, heavy-based shot glasses made from clear, restaurant-grade glass. One standard size (1.5 oz / ≈44.3 ml) — sturdy, stack-friendly, and built to handle frequent service without fuss.

These shot glasses feel solid in the hand thanks to a thick, weighty base that keeps them steady on busy bar tops. The walls are even and clear, giving a nice, unobstructed view of the pour; the rim is smoothed for comfortable sipping.

They’re engineered for regular use: consistent dimensions, dependable weight, and a simple silhouette that suits both casual venues and more formal tasting counters. Designed to perform rather than show off.

  • Material: 100% clear glass for pure clarity and clean presentation.
  • Capacity: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml) — standard shot measure.
  • Base: heavy solid glass base that reduces tipping and improves balance.
  • Construction: restaurant-grade durability for frequent handling and washing.
  • Print-ready: suitable for single-sided print applications that withstand typical use.

Perfect for quick pours, samplers, and neat shots. Their compact footprint makes them easy to place on trays and tasting lines, while the heavier base keeps things steady during service.

  1. Bar service: quick, consistent pours — less wobble when carrying a tray of shots.
  2. Tastings: uniform size is handy for sampling flights or spirit tastings.
  3. Events: robust enough for pop-ups, festivals, and busy bartending shifts.

Storage tip: store upright and avoid tight stacking to protect rims and preserve clarity.

Dishwasher-safe for everyday cleaning — place on the top rack and use a normal household cycle. Repeated exposure to very high commercial temperatures can shorten glass life, so choose gentler programs where practical.

When you want to extend clarity and finish: hand-wash with warm water, a mild detergent, and a soft cloth; dry right away to avoid water spots. Handle by the body (not the rim) to reduce accidental chipping.

One size only: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml). Use the dimensions below for shelving, packaging, or tray planning.
