Bandera de Maracay (Venezuela) Shot Glass 1.5oz

A striped flag of green, white and indigo blue, with the municipal coat of arms at its centre, marking the city of Maracay in Aragua State.

Visual Elements & Composition

The flag is built from five horizontal strips of differing widths. Mint green takes up the largest share, with royal blue, white and small touches of crimson and gold carrying the rest. The coat of arms sits in the middle as the single figurative element, a heraldic shield with an armoured figure in a helmet and a stylised wild cat head in its base. Lettering on the shield reads "Maracaya" and "22 Enero 1814".

Meaning & Symbolism

Each colour carries a meaning. Green stands for hope, perseverance and the mountains that surround the municipality. White represents faith, purity and integrity, and honours Mother María of San José. Indigo blue speaks to justice, loyalty and the marine, lacustrine and fluvial waters of the area. The flag was first hoisted on 5 March 2001 to mark the tricentennial of the city of Maracay, which ties the design to a specific civic anniversary.

Within Reach of the Glass

A shot glass is small and held close, so the central coat of arms fills the view while the striped bands run around the sides. The strong green and blue read clearly at close range, and the shield stays sharp enough to pick out its figures as the glass is raised.

Compact, heavy-based shot glasses made from clear, restaurant-grade glass. One standard size (1.5 oz / ≈44.3 ml) — sturdy, stack-friendly, and built to handle frequent service without fuss.

These shot glasses feel solid in the hand thanks to a thick, weighty base that keeps them steady on busy bar tops. The walls are even and clear, giving a nice, unobstructed view of the pour; the rim is smoothed for comfortable sipping.

They’re engineered for regular use: consistent dimensions, dependable weight, and a simple silhouette that suits both casual venues and more formal tasting counters. Designed to perform rather than show off.

  • Material: 100% clear glass for pure clarity and clean presentation.
  • Capacity: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml) — standard shot measure.
  • Base: heavy solid glass base that reduces tipping and improves balance.
  • Construction: restaurant-grade durability for frequent handling and washing.
  • Print-ready: suitable for single-sided print applications that withstand typical use.

Perfect for quick pours, samplers, and neat shots. Their compact footprint makes them easy to place on trays and tasting lines, while the heavier base keeps things steady during service.

  1. Bar service: quick, consistent pours — less wobble when carrying a tray of shots.
  2. Tastings: uniform size is handy for sampling flights or spirit tastings.
  3. Events: robust enough for pop-ups, festivals, and busy bartending shifts.

Storage tip: store upright and avoid tight stacking to protect rims and preserve clarity.

Dishwasher-safe for everyday cleaning — place on the top rack and use a normal household cycle. Repeated exposure to very high commercial temperatures can shorten glass life, so choose gentler programs where practical.

When you want to extend clarity and finish: hand-wash with warm water, a mild detergent, and a soft cloth; dry right away to avoid water spots. Handle by the body (not the rim) to reduce accidental chipping.

One size only: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml). Use the dimensions below for shelving, packaging, or tray planning.
