Bandera de najera (Spain) Shot Glass 1.5oz

This design shows the flag of Nájera in La Rioja, Spain, on a dominant red field crossed by a light blue cross and marked with gold heraldic symbols.

Visual Elements & Composition

Red covers most of the design, with light blue, gold and a touch of white layered on top. The light blue cross runs through the field and sets the structure of the composition. A gold royal crown sits above, and a gold vase holding a bouquet of white lilies anchors the lower part of the layout. Shapes are flat and bold, rendered in clean vector style with no shading, so each symbol reads clearly.

Meaning & Symbolism

The red ground recalls Nájera's time as the capital of the Kingdom of Navarre in the 10th and 11th centuries, before the town joined the Kingdom of Castile. The light blue cross stands for the waters of the Najerilla River. The gold crown marks Nájera as a royal seat and the resting place of Navarrese kings. The jar of lilies refers to the Order of the Jar, one of Europe's earliest chivalry orders, and to the Monastery of Santa María la Real. The design was created by Mario Ruiz Encinar and adopted between 2017 and 2019.

Where the Symbols Sit on the Glass

A shot glass is small and held close, so the crown and the lily vase come into view at eye level as the glass is lifted. The bold red field and the blue cross stay easy to pick out on a small surface, and the design rewards a close look at each symbol.

Compact, heavy-based shot glasses made from clear, restaurant-grade glass. One standard size (1.5 oz / ≈44.3 ml) — sturdy, stack-friendly, and built to handle frequent service without fuss.

These shot glasses feel solid in the hand thanks to a thick, weighty base that keeps them steady on busy bar tops. The walls are even and clear, giving a nice, unobstructed view of the pour; the rim is smoothed for comfortable sipping.

They’re engineered for regular use: consistent dimensions, dependable weight, and a simple silhouette that suits both casual venues and more formal tasting counters. Designed to perform rather than show off.

  • Material: 100% clear glass for pure clarity and clean presentation.
  • Capacity: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml) — standard shot measure.
  • Base: heavy solid glass base that reduces tipping and improves balance.
  • Construction: restaurant-grade durability for frequent handling and washing.
  • Print-ready: suitable for single-sided print applications that withstand typical use.

Perfect for quick pours, samplers, and neat shots. Their compact footprint makes them easy to place on trays and tasting lines, while the heavier base keeps things steady during service.

  1. Bar service: quick, consistent pours — less wobble when carrying a tray of shots.
  2. Tastings: uniform size is handy for sampling flights or spirit tastings.
  3. Events: robust enough for pop-ups, festivals, and busy bartending shifts.

Storage tip: store upright and avoid tight stacking to protect rims and preserve clarity.

Dishwasher-safe for everyday cleaning — place on the top rack and use a normal household cycle. Repeated exposure to very high commercial temperatures can shorten glass life, so choose gentler programs where practical.

When you want to extend clarity and finish: hand-wash with warm water, a mild detergent, and a soft cloth; dry right away to avoid water spots. Handle by the body (not the rim) to reduce accidental chipping.

One size only: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml). Use the dimensions below for shelving, packaging, or tray planning.
