Bandera de Riau (Indonesia) Shot Glass 1.5oz

This design takes its form from the provincial emblem of Riau, an Indonesian province on the island of Sumatra, and presents it in a bold scheme of red, blue and white.

Visual Elements & Composition

Red dominates the design and blue and white fill the remaining space. The emblem's shield is the central element, ringed by a chain of links. The rendering is flat and vector, so each element holds its own edge against the colour fields. A crescent moon and a five-pointed star appear among the visible figures, and they sit within the wider composition as clear, simple shapes.

Meaning & Symbolism

The chain has 45 links, a nod to 1945, the year of Indonesian independence. Within the shield, rice and cotton stand for prosperity and welfare, and five sea waves represent Pancasila, the national ideology. The keris, a traditional dagger, stands for heroism, truth and wisdom, and the Lancang Kuning, a traditional yellow vessel, carries the maritime spirit of the Malay people. Riau became a province on 10 August 1957, and the emblem celebrates that heritage.

Seen Up Close

A shot glass is small and held close, so the shield and its figures are read at arm's length, where the chain links and the keris can be picked out at a glance. The bold red field makes the emblem stand out clearly on the glass.

Compact, heavy-based shot glasses made from clear, restaurant-grade glass. One standard size (1.5 oz / ≈44.3 ml) — sturdy, stack-friendly, and built to handle frequent service without fuss.

These shot glasses feel solid in the hand thanks to a thick, weighty base that keeps them steady on busy bar tops. The walls are even and clear, giving a nice, unobstructed view of the pour; the rim is smoothed for comfortable sipping.

They’re engineered for regular use: consistent dimensions, dependable weight, and a simple silhouette that suits both casual venues and more formal tasting counters. Designed to perform rather than show off.

  • Material: 100% clear glass for pure clarity and clean presentation.
  • Capacity: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml) — standard shot measure.
  • Base: heavy solid glass base that reduces tipping and improves balance.
  • Construction: restaurant-grade durability for frequent handling and washing.
  • Print-ready: suitable for single-sided print applications that withstand typical use.

Perfect for quick pours, samplers, and neat shots. Their compact footprint makes them easy to place on trays and tasting lines, while the heavier base keeps things steady during service.

  1. Bar service: quick, consistent pours — less wobble when carrying a tray of shots.
  2. Tastings: uniform size is handy for sampling flights or spirit tastings.
  3. Events: robust enough for pop-ups, festivals, and busy bartending shifts.

Storage tip: store upright and avoid tight stacking to protect rims and preserve clarity.

Dishwasher-safe for everyday cleaning — place on the top rack and use a normal household cycle. Repeated exposure to very high commercial temperatures can shorten glass life, so choose gentler programs where practical.

When you want to extend clarity and finish: hand-wash with warm water, a mild detergent, and a soft cloth; dry right away to avoid water spots. Handle by the body (not the rim) to reduce accidental chipping.

One size only: 1.5 oz (≈44.3 ml). Use the dimensions below for shelving, packaging, or tray planning.
